Excellent hotel wid very well behaved Staffs who are ready to serve you with a Smile. Checked in at #201...Room was exactly the replica image found in website... Unobstructed view of the Sea..The beach was more like private beach... Serene ....Food was excellent...Free Wifi added to the icing... The location reminds me of the phrase" Far From The Maddening Crowd". To sum it up,the experience was Wonderful n detoxifying n Me n my husband will definitely recommend Marina Beach House to our family n friends...And also in future wud definitely lyk to undergo the experience once again.

Recently visited hotel Marina Beach House at Puri with family. It is located near light house and away from the din and bustle of Swargadwar. Only a few rooms are there in this hotel and most of them are sea facing. The price is very reasonable and there is auto stand just in front of it. So communication to the market area is easy. But though the behaviour of the staff was good, the rooms need maintenance. They serve freshly cooked Bengali food. Probably all rooms are AC. Hotel is quite clean. But during our stay pipe of the water tank was leaking and the water entered one room from the roof. Don't ask hotel to hire cars for your sightseeing. The person they prefer charges high prices. Select from travel agencies at Marine drive road. Overall good experience.

Good rooms, excellent foods and helpful staffs are the three attractions of this small hotel. Another thing that needs to be mentioned is this hotel's hygiene maintenance policy. Every day the rooms and toilets are cleaned with disinfectants. The bed covers are also replaced everyday.

This hotel is our first choice to stay. Their behavior, reception, location and for budget friendly. This is my third time stay in this hotel. We book three rooms. Three senior citizens persons with us. They always take care them without any hezitation. One think I have to share their food menu option very minimum but you can't choice any item from the menu because all items always not available. And they also stopped to cooking outsider raw fish which decision demotivated us. Otherwise recommended to stay.

We reached puri at 4 am in the morning. We knew the check in time is 8 am. But after waiting for 1 hour in railway station we thought we will wait in the hotel reception instead of railway station. The Guest house is located at Sagar Vihar. Auto will cost you around 180 rupees. But they will naturally ask for more. Need to bargain.When we reached the hotel around 5.30 AM we were not asked to wait and a beautiful room on the top floor was given immediately.It's on the terrace and the view is excellent.Only the Road separates the beach from the hotel. We were given room no 302 and we found it really good. It was decent sized along with a sofa. Bathroom was very well cleaned.AC worked absolutely fine.T.V. Worked fine.No complaints at all. Food is also good here and I find it decent priced.But the best part was the staff of this hotel. Manager Mr.Tapan and Raju were very helpful and polite.You may not expect hotel like atmosphere here but the Staff made our stay lot more comfortable than what we get in a high priced hotel. Hotel is away from the congested part of Puri and perfect for a relaxed holiday. Only con is they don't have intercom in room but I'm happy to overlook that will come back to this hotel again and again. Altogether an excellent stay.…

Great ambiance with sea facing room (Room No:202).If you want to see the sunrise and sea beauty from your balcony then this room is the perfect for that. Unexpectedly good food and staff behavior also very good. Surely a must visit for this hotel and beauty of this place.

Overall the hotel was good, it is a bit away from the main happening place of Puri (read Swargadwar) and beyond the lighthouse, no issue on this if you like to stay out secluded. It will be wrong to call this a hotel, rather its a Guest house, but they try their best to make boarders feel comfortable. The manager (Mr. Tapan Chakraborty) and the service boys (especially Raju) were well mannered, helpful and polite, room service was prompt and even better than many three stared hotels I stayed before. Location is good and you can enjoy the sea right from your room itself. Now to tell the cons, I must say the hotel is clumsy, rooms at the top floor (301 and 302) are difficult to access, especially for elders, it is better to choose the sea facing rooms at 1st floor. The food served are all cooked hygienically and one can access kitchen if required, to prepare any specialty, personally I didn't find the food tasty (subjective, though) . Pricing of the foods are bit on the higher side considering the stature of the hotel, especially tea and water is very costly (Rs. 20/ serving and Rs. 35/ Lt respectively). Overall good experience but should consider the above cons before deciding the stay.…

Marina Beach House is more like a home-cum-guest house experience rather than a hotel. Its location is just perfect for travelers looking for peace and serenity- a little away from the hustle bustle of crowded traffic congested core beach area in Puri. Its located right on beach (ignoring a narrow road in between which is mostly covered in sand and looks like an extension of the beach). One can enjoy complete view of the sea sitting inside the room, if a sea facing room is chosen. Food is very tasty and service is good too. Staffs prepare the menu which guests wish to eat. Managers (Mr. Dutta and Mr. Tapan) and staff (Mr. Raju) are very cooperative and delivered the best they could. Not to forget Mrs. Jhuma and helping hand of Mr. Raju for the very tasty food and tea they prepared. I wish to visit the place again both with family and solo.…

We stayed again. Now 1st floor sea view room; enugh space. Bathroom was also specious but condition was not good. Maintenance require. Service of the hotel is not questionable. They tried thier level best which we liked. We will visit again.
