Bunty the travel operator associated with Kakkson Villa made our visit worthwhile during our stay. He was very polite, considerate and very helpful with local travel and went the extra mile to help us. The Hotel is a budget friendly one.

Pros : 1) Hotel staffs are good, friendly & proactive. 2) Interiors are very good & decorative. Rooms & bathrooms are spacious & clean. 3) We booked room online, & check in was hassle free & quick. 4) Hotel have Peaceful, calm environment.
Cons: 1) Its far frm the swaragdwar market, in a remote area. 2) Some kind of road maintenance is going on nearby, so the roads linking the hotel are in pathetic condition. 3) In TripAdvisor hotel mentioned free wifi, But no wifi was there. Hotel staffs told us as road maintenance is goin on, so wifi connection was cut. 4) We had complimentary breakfast included in our package. But they only serve Aalu parathas, pickle & tea. Everything else is chargeable. 5) The hotel has No lift. So taking rooms in 4th or 5th floor may not be a very wise decision.

Pros : 1. Hotel is quite neat and clean 2. Rooms are spacious and interiors are good with clean bathroom. 3. Nature of staff is good and friendly. 4. You can opt this if u r not bothered to move out or visit locality and just sit and relax.
Cons : 1. It's biggest demerit is it's location it's in d 4th road parallel to beach which make it quite a distant place. Also reaching to the hotel is quite a headache as the road leading to hotel is really in bad state.
2. Don't get carried away by free breakfast as they just provides parathas and achar fr it without any alternative.
3. No WiFi was available because the connection was broken due to road maintenance.

I have booked Luxury room in this hotel. Except name nothing is Luxury. Just a normal hotel room compare to other hotel. Damp in wall. Smell coming from the walls. Wifi not working, service is very bad, staff behaviour is bad. front desk service person Sameer Mishra and all staf behaviour is very bad. Room and bathroom is not clean, water leakage from AC . Can't use Balcony. They are not cooperative. Don't take car on rent. They will take more charges then tours and travel person. They will give you big promise but after payment they will change the wordings. Out of 10 tourist place only visited 4 place. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Bahut he ghatiya hotel hai. Please don't book hotel ever. Overall I had very bad experience, can say Disaster experience. Please don't book this hotel.

Reached at 8 AM in the hotel. Had to wait till 10.30 AM for check in. Poor breakfast served. At night not even a single drop of drinking water was served. Next morning stale food was served in breakfast. Simply wastage of ₹25000 for two rooms for 2 days. Don’t stay here

This hotel is situated very close to the beach area. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated. The staff is very polite, courteous and helpful. Had wonderful stay here. The food served here is also tasty and pocket friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel staff is good. Hotel is average and you can get way better ones for this price. We were told its beach facing, well beach is far away from reach and from the room you see other ashrams or seva guest house and people in neighborhood are noisy. Its away from the world with no good view and all residence around. Location is pathetic nobody knows about it easily around puri its like at a dead end and rickshaws unaware about it and dont want to take you so far. Breakfast and service is useless. Staff is good but very very slow no facilites for your taxi driver and they refuse to give the drivers filtered water ask them to pay. Restaurants has few chairs nobody eats there it was closed till we entered for dinner and the lights were shut, hotel encourages room service with cold tea by the time it reaches your room. They have no idea about your reservation as some so called different person/office handles it but the actual reception receives no detailed information and will have you to give them your complete online booking. Only internet customers will reach here as its not traceable by normal humans. Will not go back again

We have been staying occasionally here recently in the past 6 months,and right from the Reception to the room service boys , all are so polite and so very warm. One tends to like a place as soon as one steps in. Excellent food. Lovely location very centrally placed this cute, small, quaint but dynamic hotel..............by far its one of the best hotels in town.... A sure visit again !!

We were a group of 4 couples and my nephew who visited Puri in between 24th to 26th Jan, 2015.We had chosen our stay at Kakkson Villa near light house. We have booked the hotel through Goibibo needless to say about the great discounts and instant booking confirmation by 2014 best Website of the year Leisure & Travel but frankly speaking I was in serious doubt regarding Hotel and its location. On 24th at about 6.45 am we reached the hotel with a car arranged by the Hotel off course at our own coast. I was surprised that they have immediately alloted us 1 luxury suite,2 Deluxe room and 2 Semi Deluxe room although the check in time was 8 am .I have really bad experience with early check in my previous trips. One of the Hotel at Mandarmoni had given us check in after 1-30 hrs of the standard check in time and I have to wait around 2-30 hours at the lobby.The rooms at kakkson was really good. Manager Mr Aman Kakkar was available himself at the reception to welcome us. Complementary buffet breakfast was served at sharp 8-00 am on the restaurant. The highlight of the Hotel was the service provided by the staff. Believe me friends you can get better rooms or sea view by paying additional money but the service will not be the same. There were two incident I would like share .First incident one of my colleague was not feeling well and one point of time I was thinking to call the doctor but staffs have supported us a lot arranged medicine as per our requirement at 11-45 pm at night. Second incident we had some issues (we were not clear about the hotel direction and we were bit confuse and Auto wala became angry and start saying “mar khayega” )with a local Auto wala outside hotel entrance the Auto wala was threating us but Hotel receptionist was proactive and came outside quickly for our aid. I would also strongly oppose the previous comments where the food quality and quantity has been questioned. During my visit the food quality and quantity was really good. Yes I agree the rooms were not properly sea facing and lift was absent but again this things can be easily ignored in comparison to their service with smiling face. I observed that their service remain same for multiple orders and even for free things. At the end I would like to say once again few additional bucks can give better rooms but not better services. A stay for family, couple or friends is highly recommended.

I stayed in this hotel in February 2015 for 2 nights.It is newly constructed,very well maintained,neat and clean property.The rooms are spacious and have all new furniture.The bathroom has all new fittings and hygiene.The room quality is equal to a star hotel.The staff at reception were very helpful and polite. However the location is not so good.It is located on inner road and approach road is in bad condition.But beach is very near to the hotel. But the kitchen/food quality of hotel not up to mark.They provide only one item and that not too good in breakfast which was offered with the room.The hotel has yet not install lift,so elder person should take lower floor. I strongly recommend this hotel for those who want excellent room at budget price without giving attention to location and food quality at the hotel.

Thank You for your query Sir. Your booking is confirmed. I am really sorry to inform you that your currently booked room is not a sea view room. The auto charges Rs 100 to the temple. Konark/Chilika Visit would charge approximately Rs 1600. The location of the hotel is behind the Light House of Puri.

The hotel is located 3 Km from Jagannath Temple and 1 Km from Swargdwar. Cooking inside the rooms is not allowed. However we prepare food for small children and old aged people on special request.
