Stayed at Toshali Sands Resort in the month of Oct,22. The staff, be it the sales team, front desk, room service and restaurant were very polite and courteous. As the visit to Puri was to pay our obeisance to Lord Jagannath, they also helped us in connecting with a priest at the temple. They also arranged car for airport pickup and drop and local sightseeing. This property is at the outskirts of the town and has a private beach as an added attraction. Would highly recommend it to my friends and family.
Over all experience is very good, ambience ,facilities are very good .right place to have an business meet in puri . Need to increase the food menu spread and recommended to add continental varieties .
The resort is situated far from the crowded Puri beach, but the hotel organizes trips every half hour to a secluded beach. We loved the ambiance and the restaurants, although the service can get a little slow and chaotic if there is a crowd. The rooms are all right, although we could not connect to the wi-fi from our room most of the time. So if you are going for a quite vacation with close friends, this is a place I would definitely recommend.
Huge property with lots of greens, probably the best in Puri. Verdant surroundings, nice landscaping, courteous staff, idyllic place for rejuvenation, lots of games. Pleasantly upgrades to suite and enjoyed thoroughly for 3 days. Private beach is well maintained and very quiet away from city. Suggestion to focus more on finesse upkeep. Overall marvellous experience, would like to stay again. Highly recommended!!
We stayed there as nine-member family of adults ranging from 18 to 75 and we all had a wonderful time. The location is a bit far from the Jagannath Temple (about 10 to 15 minutes drive). But that is probably because it is a sprawling resort over several acres and hence located in the outskirts. The art work and decor in the lobby and elsewhere is fascinating—you can spend hours just admiring the paintings, sand art, sculptures etc. The premises are lush green, filled with all kinds of well-maintained lawns, trees and plants. We stayed in their spacious cottages with small patios offering privacy as well as beautiful views of the gardens. They were clean and well-maintained. Comfortable beds and bedding. There was a problem with one room's AC and another's water heater. But housekeeping immediately got them repaired for us. We didn't use the swimming pool and indoor games but they appeared of good quality. I would rate the spa facilities at about 3.5/5. They also give you access to their private beach (about 1.5 km away); you have to book a pass at the reception desk. The beach is very clean and no crowd at all, being a private beach. The restaurant Phulpatna is quite spacious but tends to get full when hosting group tours. We were told they are soon to start a much larger restaurant. The only downside is they took lot of time to prepare the meals. But all the food was freshly prepared and delicious, and quite reasonably priced for a resort. I would recommend booking a table and placing your meal order at least an hour or so in advance on the phone. Try their local Odisha menu. It's quite nice! They have another restaurant Coastline Dhaba. The decor is completely ethnic and beautiful but we didn't get a chance to eat there. The biggest highlight was the staff: extremely courteous, smiley, helpful and eager to please. They went out of the way to fulfill our requests. Would definitely recommend this property to everyone and would definitely stay there again.…
Pathetic third rate property and abjectly unprofessional management. All this after baiting unsuspecting travelers through misleading photos on booking.com. Filthy room and perfunctory amenities. My advice, save yourselves the swindle.
The best place to stay in puri.the ambiance is excellent.brings you in nature.full of greenery every where with refreshing smell.cottages are very spacious and make s you feel that you are at home.speciall I'm very happy with foods.really foods are very delicious. they have restaurant and a costline dhaba. Sea foods are available there.their service is very welcoming. Staffs behaviour is very nice. Specially we like their reception staff Priya, aliva, santwana really they are very cooperative and we are received good hospitality from their.also restaurant staffs are very nice and housekeeping staff mousumi, gyana all are very friendly. Thanks to all of you...visit again
The property is just ordinary and very dull. Don’t be fooled by the biased ratings and reviews. Primarily used by corporate houses to host offsite meetings where most of the staff focus. “Housekeeping” and “customer service” are opposite terms. Absolutely worst housekeeping staff you can find in the world with no customer empathy. Restaurant prices are exorbitant (a bowl of curd comes at a minimum price guarantee of Rs.100 + taxes) but some of the dishes are tasty. However, must admit that the restaurant staff are extremely courteous and epitomise great customer service. Some of the personnel in reception area are also helpful and my shout out for Mr. Ajith who shoulders great responsibility even at a young age. I booked the villa for 2 days (22 to 24 April 2022). Our first day in the villa was spent without AC with temperature around 41-42 degrees centigrade. Informed the issue to house keeping the moment we checked in. Despite several reminders they left it unattended. After lot of persuasion till 11:30 pm in the night, the villa was changed the next day. Per night charge was about 8000 INR and extra bed for 2,500 INR, so in total I was fleeced about 10,500 INR for a sleepless night. All travellers are requested to check and confirm every amenity of the villa/room they book. Payment is taken in advance so be careful. There are much better properties near Blue Flag Beach which are available at a much better price and facing the beach. It is just that they are in high demand and for obvious reasons. Toshali Sands is best used for functions and corporate events. This location serves nothing good and absolutely nothing in the vicinity. It is midway between Puri and Konark and for all practical purposes, it is neither here nor there. Toshali Sands is a glorified façade of great reviews and ratings that is likely to mislead you. I was requested for great feedback; I could not control my laughter! Please avoid!…

I have visited almost all resorts in Puri. Toshali is one of the finest and pristine resort you can visit and that to in a good budget. The coordination within the staff, the food , the room service, the cottages style rooms & villas would surely take your spirit high as a traveler. Hats off Toshali Sands & team. Mr. Santhosh Ganguly, Ajay and many have been very guiding and caring and they make sure day in day out that you really enjoy the time there well in a happy mood 😇
