Bad attitude of front office staffs. No coordination. Tryed to cover their faults and gives stupid reasons. I have been to Puri multiple times but never faced such a bad hotel. Sandeep... the man in front office has a bad attitude towards guests.

When I was looking for hotels in puri, i had 2 criteria, should be Sea facing or near Sea beach and availability of 4 bed rooms. Ofcourse was looking for a budget hotel. My search took me to Hotel Petal Regency. We had booked 2 rooms one 4 bed and another double bed AC rooms. Both rooms were good, nice interiors, clean & hygienic ambience. You have mini refrigerator & a small balcony as well. The best part was the location, ISKON temple is 50 metres & swargadwar beach is walkable distance 300-400 metres. The entire stretch has innumerable eateries, handloom, handicraft shops and is bustling with people. Jagannath temple is around 2kms, autos are available. The only thing noticeable was the road is narrow and you don't have parking within hotel premises. Nevertheless, we spent a good couple of nights in the best time of the year (christmas-new year time). I would recommend this hotel for travellers to this beautiful temple town.…

The Petal Regency makes our tour more wonderful. It is just opposite of Akshaydham, Sargadwar. It is 2 mins from beach through a lane opposite to it. The food is awesome and tasty. The staff behaviour is also friendly and always ready to help you. Don't book Cab from the hotel.

Hotel is situated very near to swaragduar & also important places of Puri ..beach only 4-5mins walking distance..but cost effective hotel..rooms good..food service & quality above average..staffs are well behaved

We checked into this hotel in August 2018. Location : Is right in the market.So everything is within the reach such as food,drinks,liquor,stationaries,sweets,medicine shop.Swargadwar is a walkable distance as well as the main sea beach.If you would prefer toto/auto,it will charge RS 40/50(we were 5 people) to the beach area.From railways station also it is not very far.Auto will charge Rs 120/130 to the hotel. Cleanliness: Room was good.We took the AC room which had TV,mini fridge,cupboard,balcony facing the market/street,attached bathroom was clean,the hotel had elevators.The room was cleaned everyday by housekeeping which is rare nowadays except the 5 stars.But if you look under the bed/couch/sofa,these have not been cleaned for ages. Service: Service/hospitality was excellent.The security/housekeeping/F&B/reception all were friendly and helpful staff.They really helped as my wife managed to break her legs and they provided hot water whenever asked.Room service was available.Drinking water was provided before being asked for it. Food is good.They provide thali which was sumptuous and good.The snacks(chinese)was also good.The breakfast served were also good.The rates are also moderate. The AC rooms do not have kitchen.Tea/hot beverages were only served during non-lunch/dinner hours. For sight seeing, they arrange for cabs if requested. Only cons is if someone likes serenity, then this place might not be suitable as this is right in the market area.…

Location wise- 5 minutes from the sea beach. Located in a very congested area. However hotel staff is very polite and helpful. Has a nice restaurant. Unless you get somthing on the Marine Drive, you can go ahead and book this hotel.

We book two room through OYO on cleartrip platform five months age as we used to do in every trip (Booking Ref : YZMN1784). On arrival in the morning of 21 st Jan'18, we were given to understand by the hotelier that they can provide only one room and another will be available only at 2000 hrs. On making and attending number of calls to Cleartrip and OYO for hours we managed to get the other room only at 1600 hrs. on 21.2.18. The hotelier told that this was informed to OYO local manager Amit Chkraborty three days prior but nothing was conveyed to us by them. It is advised to make re confirm your booking prior reaching to this hotel. The hotel is good enough so far it's price is concerned. Rooms are large, clean and particularly toilet is very good. Room decoration is attractive. Staffs are alright. don't expect much from free breakfast. Tea makers are not available as mentioned in hotel website. Few minutes walk from the famous beach of Puri. Market and main location is nearby. Booking is advisable if one getting this hotel around Rs.1000 to 1200.…

stayed in April 2017. Booked 2 delux AC and two sper delux AC rooms. In Delux AC Bed sheets are dirty, Sofa was dirty. The WiFi does not work in the room. And most interestingly you will be not alone in the room, You will found lots of mouse roaming in the room. The restaurant is ok, You can try those so called INDIAN CHINESE dishes.

Good Hotel considering the tariff. The hotel staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is a minute walk from the main road and the beach. Swargdwar is also very near to the hotel. There is also an auto stand just outside the hotel so its very convenient if suppose you want to go to the temple early in the morning.
