This was my second time stay to VCH, Puri after 2015 (4 years). This time I visited with my mother, wife and my little daughter. We stayed in a room which had front sea facing balcony and is at 2nd floor. We stayed 2 nights 3 days. The first thing we always notice is the gestures and professionalism of each and every staffs of this hotel starting from reception. The hotel looks like a palace and always new from outside and inside. The second thing we observed the cleanliness they maintained. We choose this hotel for one of this reason because we traveled with my little daughter. The third thing, is the behavior and prompt response of the room staffs who were doing the cleaning of the rooms and also delivering the foods to our room (we took an option to deliver food to our room). The fourth thing which is very much noticeable is the quality of their food. The foods are incredible. Whatever, we ordered for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, were very good in tastes and excellent in terms quality. The fifth thing is the price of the rooms - very reasonable and we still can't believe how are they maintaining all these things with this nominal price. So, in a word, yes, this time also, we are equally satisfied like before. I would love to recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit Puri first time or once again for business, as a couple, family, friends or as a solo.

Writing this review after at least 6-7 visits in the last few years. This is the go to property if one enjoys beach front hotels and love the buzzing Beach of Puri. We stayed in Premium Front Sea View Room with balcony No’s. 511 and 611. View of the beach and sea from both the rooms are amazing. (611 has better view since on the second floor). Service is amazing and daily sanitation of the rooms done due to ongoing Covid situation. All staffs wear masks and all safety protocols strictly maintained. The on-site Resturant serve good, tasty and hygienic food and specially Bengali cuisine. We tried out Chinese and tandoori items which pleasantly surprised us!! The hotel has all basic facilities like daily housekeeping & laundry services, WiFi, room service and a huge car parking space. All staffs are helpful and will try to honour all the requests. The best part is the personal touch in the services. Only suggestion is to include a complimentary breakfast in the room rate and improve the quality of the shampoo and conditioner. A few paint touch ups in the interior of the rooms will be appreciated. Overall as usual our experience at this hotel is great !!

This is our 3rd stay there and loved almost everything as before . I used the term 'almost ' as I didn't like the position of electrical fittings of their new decor in king/queen room.I can't see my face properly in any of the mirrors. Besides the bed has really become kingly because of nice decor but the position of TV is old so I can't watch tv while lying on the comfy bed. Every other thing is as good as before, awesome sea view from the room itself, beautiful balcony , my most favourite daybed with red mattress and pillows. Their cleanliness is noteworthy. Very quick and prompt in room service. Laundry service is also v cheap and laundry worth 100/- is free in king/queen room. Tasty food and cheap too. Nice behaviour of all staffs. I specially want mention of the ever-smiling face of the room boy Akash . And I shall never forget the awesome taste of almost 1.5 feet long lobster nicely decorated and served.

22nd June 2 p.m. Eight hours drive from Kolkata. Reached Puri hungry & exhausted. Checked in @ Victoria Club Hotel. Greeted & welcomed by their ever smiling staff at reception as usual. Our car was immediately taken for wash & sanitized. The hotel has taken all necessary precautions & arrangements to fight # Corona. Room was fumigated & sanitised toiletries, disposable mask, hand sanitizer were provided to us for use. Sumptuous lunch was served at the room by appointed attendant wearing PPE suit. It was super verdict time. Rath Yatra next day was permitted under # Curfew @ complete shutdown Puri with immediate effect that eve. We ran to have a glimpse of the Chariot & temple. By His Divine Grace we were fortunate to make it. All of us assembled there including the sevaits were happy celebrating. The next day we watched Rath Yatra telecast live enjoying our day comfortably confined to our air conditioned sea facing room. It was severe hot & humid outside.The next day we had reasons to celebrate. The hotel staff made all the arrangements perfect & safe to enjoy the eve. Mahaprasad brought by our panda was like blissful icing to the cake. Three days passed away so fast & memorable. 25th Morning 9 a.m. we made our way back to Kolkata. Before leaving Puri we confirmed our reservation to stay at the hotel at our next visit. This year Lord Jagannath will bless us by letting us see his Divine Nagarjuna Bes which happens once in twenty years. Jai Jagannath!.

This is my favourite hotel in Puri with great location and hospitality. If you are visiting for the first time, be rest assured this is one of the best places to stay with lovely location, great food and hospitality.
My only request is to start or dedicate few rooms as pet friendly for small pets only maybe on the terrace or in a particular wing, thereby catering to almost every customer need.
Now coming to food it has great bengali cuisine and also has average chinese cuisines at reasonable price.
Another factor worth highlighting in this time of COVID is the cleaning and sanitisation initiatives taken by the hotel is one of the very best and one can depend on.....starting from temperature check of guests and staff and sanitisation of all baggages/ luggages and personal vehicles.
Now that I have been visiting the hotel for decades I expect loyalty bonus for returning customers in the form of extra discount or a scheme like the more number of times u visit u get better deals.
For first timers I can simply say it is the very best with best location and great food.

First time checked into Victoria Club. Although the expectation was already high through word of mouth, the level exceeded from the very first day of our tour itself. We had booked the Victoria Heritage room which was front sea facing with a spacious fancy balcony. The room was well sanitised with lots of minute addons which are required on a daily basis. The restaurant service was extremely tidy and utmost puntuality was maintained throughout the 5 days of our tour whenever we ordered any sort of delicacy. Every morning the room along with the washroom was sanitised and cleaned. The behaviour and gestures of the each and every hotel staff were exceptionally polite and gentle which always generated a positive vibe among us everytime during any interaction. Lots of tagged services were also offered or discounted with the room itself. Undisputedly we had one of the best experiences. Anyone visiting Puri should check out Victoria as it will definitely amplify the quality of the tour.

Beautiful ambience,very good location,nice behaviour of hotel staff. However service is little bit slow. However all services are good, including room service.Sanitation has been done and other precautions during Covid 19 emergency, like sanitising luggages before entry, daily room sanitisation as well as hand sanitisation at all entry point had been done.Foods are tasty and varieties of dishes are available . In a nutshell staying at Victoria is a good experience.

I stayed in Aug, Nov in 2019 and this year I stayed in Feb also booked for March and Oct well in advance for room no 307. Hospitality of hotel staff/Room boys are excellent. All are very cooperative. Everyday staffs are changing the bedrolls/toilet towels and toiletries also clean the room everyday to our utter satisfaction. Very safe. Food is also good but to my opinion it need to be improved. Again saying taste differs from tounge to tounge. I strongly prefer this hotel. Filligri shop within the premises is good. Regards Siddhartha Chatterjee

I am very much satisfied with the warmth of all the managers and staffs of the hotel. Especially the managers Mr Chakraborti, Mr. Banerjee and also the staff members Kishor and Shiba deserve a special mention. Sanitization in the hotel was state of the art. Apart from hand sanitizers placed at entry points and at all floors they have also provided sticks for use in the lift to avoid spread of Covid 19. All the service staffs are wearing mask and also are leaving their shoes outside the guest room before entering. The food quality was also good and are served at the guest rooms. I would highly recommend Victoria Club Hotel if you are planning to visit Puri. The stay will be safe and healthy during the current pandemic. Kudos to the management of the hotel for providing such healthy and Hygeinic environmet. Looking forward to visit again.
