The Hotel is charging so much during season time that one of the employee of the hotel told that you are paying just double the amount. I was also thinking about the same while entering the room. But the service is ok.They immediately send somebody on a call. The staff came to your room for taking order of lunch and dinner without calling them. The hotel has a very small swimming pool and you will also not wish to swim there, but they are charging for the same. The food part is good.Beach is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is towards the Lighthouse area, so the crowd is very less on this side of the beach.
I loved that place to visit there . It's such a nice and beautiful experience to stay there. I am so happy and wondered to stay and have the beautiful place to visit and stay . It's such a nice and wondered place.
It's really a very nice place to visit. I love it's environment and enjoying a lot here with my families. It is one of my favorite destination. And I used to visit these types of places in India with my families.
The hotel is located just next to the Lighthouse, a quieter and more relaxing place compared to the hustle and bustle and crowds in the Swargadar area. All the rooms have sea views through large windows but no balconies. The sea beach is just across the road from the hotel. A lawn and a small swimming pool also gives it a resort like feel. Service was quite good and all the staff including the restaurant staff were well behaved and responsive. Restaurant menu included Indian, Odia, Bengali, Chinese, continental items. Food was averagely priced and reasonably tasty served either in room or in their basement dining area. Room and washroom sizes were adequate. Housekeeping staff would clean the room whenever requested. For the Jagannath temple darshan, panda was provided by the hotel who arranged early morning darshan quite efficiently for everyone including my aged mother. All in all had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at the hotel.…
Pros: Location Ample parking space outside the hotel Less crowded Excellent House keeping staff Water flow in the taps quite good, but watch out for the basin taps, as explained below Thankfully the AC and roomTV works. Cons: Kitchen area is not clean Choice of Food in the Hotel is very limited No lift to go to the dinning room; as a result, senior citizens' may find it problematic Wash rooms are not up to the mark. The basin tap may come out in your hand when turing for water flow The shower provides either cold or hot water, can't get mixed tempered water Electrci kettle, tea bags and sugar are available but don't ask for coffee. Watch out the lobby before you step out of your room in the morning. Stray cats might have left their early morning job near your door or scattered the left overs from the last nights left overs after the guests had late night dinner and put the trash outside their rooms to keep their room odor free. Even if you request for fruits in the breakfast table, they will not supply you even if you are ready to pay for these. No desserts after dinner. You buy it from outside and get it. On the whole we got the feeling that the Hotel does not bother about the guests. In Puri, all 12 months are high season and there is no dearth of guests every day. So what the guest suggests or complains about, it has no effect on the hotel management. At the time of direct booking, we were told that all the rooms are sea facing but the rooms alloted to us, D1 and D2 had no sea view. Indeed the whole hotel is sea facing, but only 3 rooms had sea view, as we understood later. The AC water drips on the wash basin, and don;'t be surprised if it you get cool water spary on your bed from the AC instead of cold air and water drips in your room thus spoiling your luggages. Two days of requests were needed to put the things back to normal. …
