Positive Points: Location and Food Negative Points: 1. AC was not working in the room from very beginning...they fix it and told us not to switch-off AC until checkout. 2. Dirty furniture, ill maintained walls, and unhygienic toilet 3. Hotel charges Rs. 100 per head for boarders to use Swimming Pool...this is the first-time I faced it 4. Water bottle is not available...service boy requested us to provide the Water bottles 5. Overall, it was a dirty, unhealthy, and unhygienic stay
I booked an AC Superior room for March 04th. At time of check-in, i was given a lousy, non-AC, filthy room with a dirty bathroom, torn curtains, unbelievably cheap bed and bath Linen. I walked out of the hotel and checked in at the classy, excellent and value for money Sterling Puri. MMT owes me a refund, because the Puri Beach resort did not give me the room i had booked on MMT website. Moreover, the reviews and photos ok on MMT website are totally misleading. I took up the matter with MMT. Unfortunately, MMT's Customer Care team is the most dumb, moronish, inefficient team of customer care execs you would find anywhere.
Entering the hotel gives you a gloomy feeling... reception and lobby looks shabby...booked a super deluxe AC room. Rooms are small and claustrophobic...we had to ask them to change bedsheets and pillow cover.
A terrible experience for a family tour. On arrival we have to wait for 90 minutes beyond check in time. In rooms AC was not working, no provision of electric cattle, no provision for hot water in bathroom, no provision for bathroom linens. Bed linens were dirty, and no change in bed linens for our four days stay. The restaurant was full of flies. Intercom was not working, swimming pool was very small and dirty. Among few not so bad things were, lift, food quality and sea view. Not at all recommended for family tours…

Mr. Pradeep Behera, the man with long hairs, is a receptionist there. To be specific, his behaviour with the tourists staying is the hotel is extremely bad. He is very nagging and not at all cordial. EXTREMELY DEJECTED.

Disadvantages:- 1. The basic behavior of management staff is bad. 2. The housekeeping and other subordinate staffs are very lazy. 3. The amenities provided in the rooms with respect to the price or charges is not up to the mark. 4. No ventilation is present at every toilet attached to every room. 5. The toilet basin is malfunctioning 6. At every point they try to save money for eg. saving the ac battery (which has drained out) 7. The refrigerator has a water leak problem. 8. The toiletries are not properly provided. 9. The basement restaurant has a strong foul smell all the time **Special Mention- A receptionist Sukant Behera, is an extremely illiterate person who has no sense of how to talk and behave properly with the tourists staying at the hotel. He has a very bad behavioral problem. Some of the advantages:- 1. The guard keeper, the restaurant staffs, and housekeeping are very soft, polite, and helpful 2. The Hotel is charging so much during season time that one of the employee of the hotel told that you are paying just double the amount. I was also thinking about the same while entering the room.But the service is ok.They immediately send somebody on a call. The staff came to your room for taking order of lunch and dinner without calling them.The hotel has a very small swimming pool and you will also not wish to swim there, but they are charging for the same. The food part is good.Beach is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is towards the Lighthouse area, so the crowd is very less on this side of the beach.

It's really a very nice place to visit. I love it's environment and enjoying a lot here with my families. It is one of my favorite destination. And I used to visit these types of places in India with my families.
