The hotel has following good facilities :
1. very near to Jagannath Temple & sea beach, both are within 10 min walking distance,
2. staffs are very cordial & helpful. They respond very fast after informing them
3. very neat & clean
4. they allow us 1 hour late check out time after request.
5. pure veg restaurant with testy food.
Drawback is - not sea facing hotel (you will not get sea view from the hotel) & restaurant service is little bit slow.

Before I , Koushik Banerjee from Delhi recommend you a mini vacation in Puri , I do recommend you this hotel - Gangotri to stay at Puri. This hotel is a fantastic property near sea beach and as well as temple. Location is excellent . A walking distance from golden beach, it is a step above your normal travel hotels where hospitality is above than everything. I wish my stay could have been longer there. Hygiene , open area , dinning area all are too good. All the staff are very cordial and friendly also.
Please put your attention in this para which not only a review , its my personal experience : I booked this hotel through OYO app on 28th April - 18 for the period of staying there from 27th May to 31st May-18. It was a family vacation trip.. Once I reached there I received a message as well as customer care call from OYO that my booking had been shifted from this hotel to another hotel without my concern. New one I found was not as per my choice . Being helpless I spoke several times at OYO but they did not resolve my case and ignored. I immediately went to Gangotri HOtel if hoping to get any assistance from there. The concern person , Mr. Das & Mr. Vikas over there helped me and allowed me to stay there even when the booking was cancelled by OYO. That time I found God's grace in humanity and hospitality of the manager.
Each and every staff from a sweeper , a cook , a peon or a security to the top level management is awesome. Food quality is remarkable . Fully homely. Though No non-veg is allowed , still you will not miss those. Room service is appreciated.
Before I left the hotel I wanted to thank them and fortunately met their MD - Mr. Chakraborty.. Meeting him I got to know why the courtesy and hospitality are in the air of this hotel.He is so gentle , down to earth , helpful and good-hearted.
If I again visit Puri , I must stay with them . With my reviews I want to send my warm thanks and best wishes again.

Stayed here overnight on 1/30/19 to visit the temple
Very new, clean and an excellent place to stay. Close to Jagannathji temple. B.Fast was good. Tiiming for B. Fast (8 to 10 am) and Dinner (8 to 10 pm) is very strange. No hot water kettle or condiments in the room. Need to wait till 6.15 am for tea or coffee, Excellent customer serice.
Should provide better linens and pillows. Did not find these clean. Otherwise good place to stay. would recommend

I have a confirmed booking at OYO 9344 Hotel Gangotri with booking id YKJ03660. Upon reaching the hotel they have denied entry on my confirmed booking and asked me to call the Oyo representatives as they have stopped taking bookings from Oyo. I had my family standing outside choose to cancel my bookings. Now I have to bear cancellation fees.

Checked into the hotel at midnight and was told that check out time is 8 am, so I was bit disappointed, the size of the room was also not large and it was at an acceptable level only. However, the courteous and ever willing to help staff made by day next day. Light breakfast on the ground floor (Satvik food) was ok, staff helped in arranging the pundit and auto next day for the visit to Holy Dham.

We stayed for 2 days..The place was clean and neat as it was recently opened 6 months back. It is equidistant both from temple and the beach.The staff is friendly and good. But the basic amenities like soap etc are not provided properly. The food is not at all good , would prefer eating breakfast outside. Economical to the pocket also for 1-2 days stay.

Located walking distance to Jagannath temple and the beach. The room was quite tidy but the bathroom was bit small. Can’t speak much about the food, since, we only had quick breakfast but it was good. However, there was a very strong foul odor in the elevator. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

We booked 4 rooms in this hotel and had great stay , hotel staff was very good. Hotel is neat and clean and food is good but takes time for preparation so order the food in advance.
They offer free milk for kids if require.
Hotel staff is friendly they did not ask for money when we checked in and offered to do payment using OYO app for cashback.
Temple and beach are not very far and are 10 to 15 mins walk.

It’s nice hotel to b in, close to d beach. Kids will love it. Away from crowds makes it more special. Good ambience nice staff. Good to stay here when u wanna b away from d world. All d best team hotel Gangotri for the future.

We stayed in hotel Gangotri for 3 nights. Very courteous staff both housekeeping and restaurant. The hotel offers some nice vegetarian food in its restaurant.
Only problem is that rooms are now requiring renovation and cleanliness.
