The chakratirth beach is 2 minutes walk from hotel and a big advantage .You can go and watch sunrise/sunset,enjoy nice dip anytime(morning and evening are best)and relish sea food as well as other food items like coconut water ,tea with samosa,cheena podi etc on the beach.A bit of ocean is visible from the non AC room windows as well as the terrace. The hotel has a garden tap that helps you wash off all the sand before going inside your room. The hotel has ample parking space for people traveling in personal cars,just outside gate you can get auto to visit Jagrnath Temple or other crowded beaches. Overall good experience.

My son and I went backpacking in India for five weeks during July and August 2024. Z Hotel was our one slightly more upmarket ‘treat’ during our predominantly low-budget backpacking trip. It’s an attractive and welcoming old heritage building, very well located near the beach and at the slightly quieter end of town (which is good if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main market area further south). The staff were all very professional and helpful, the rooms were huge and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Best of all we loved walking down the beach in the evenings and buying locally caught fresh fish from the fisherman, watching them fry them for us and eating them with mustard sauce as the waves crashed on the beach. It’s a good place to stay in magical Puri.

I had heard a lot abut this property finally we had decided to stay at z hotel puri but unfortunately we had faced the worst experience ever in hotel z. Door lock was not working even one of us get locked inside the bathroom until they break the complete bathroom door to rescue her. No power backup. Full night we slept with no fan and lights Washroom has geyser but it was not working Manager behaviour was not good No drinking water No welcome kit (soap) Bad smell was coming out from water Service was not good

The washroom roof was leaking as it was raining. Despite the bad condition of the room, it was sold to us. We raised the issue with management & they gave lame excuse that work could not begin as it was raining. Pretty sure they must be telling same reasons to other customers too. Neither did they offer any refund nor other available room inspite of requests. Total waste of money.

Beautiful hotel rich in atmosphere of days gone by. My room was enormous, clean and furnished with period furniture. The bathroom impeccable. There are also pleasant sitting and dining areas. Staff are cooperative and very kind. The location is close to the beach and the fishermen village, far from the chaotic traffic. I highly recommend it.

One of our best addresses Very pretty old house, wooden floor, single bedroom and comfortable bed. We had a room without a bathroom, but access to a bathroom for ourselves in the hallway. Lack of double glazing which is very useful against noise pollution. Very good and plentiful breakfast. Pleasant staff.
