Realy nice guest house with all basic amenities. Its perfct for a group travelers. 4 seperate beds are available in a room. Wooden floor with proper ventilation along with the good breakfast provide. A special thanks to Mr. J. P. & Mr. Thapa. Service provided by them is really good. Tjis hotel located very near by police bazar circle. Best of guys a very good job.
The location is very near to Police Bazaar, but extremely peaceful. You won't be disturbed by the noise. The room is very different than a common hotel room. It has wooden floor with rock tiled walls. There is a bunk bed where two person can sleep besides the main king bed (actually two single beds joined together). Bathroom is big with a good exhaust fan. 24 hr hot water is available. There is an electric kettle with sufficient tea bags, coffee, sugar cubes etc. Breakfast was served in the room. You have to choose 4 items per person out of 10, which is more than enough. The caretaker Mr. JP was very helpful and was available all the time. I would like to recommend Quinton Enclave if you are visiting Shillong. Its good for 4 to 5 person in a single room. For first timers it will…
This place is not a hotel. It's more like a parking area of a apartment complex converted into rooms without proper ventilation. Cleanliness does not exist at all. The bathroom stinks and the stink seeps into the room. The bathroom has zero ventilation. When the staff was asked to clean the bathroom, he reluctantly did a messy job of it. The staff/manager is uncultured. We are 3 girls who had rented that room for our vacation, he never had the courtousy to knock and would just open the curtains of our window if he wanted to communicate anything to us. If he did come in through the door, he would walk right into the middle of the room and talk.
We stayed here from 11 Jun 2017 to 15 Jun 2017.We took an AC taxi from the Guwahati airport and that cost us Rs 2,400 plus another Rs 300 extra to the hotel as most of the taxis will drop you in police bazaar only if you don't inform and pay extra. Non AC taxi is Rs 2,000. AC and non AC taxis may charge differently do you better confirm before you hire even in Shillong. The road from Guwahati to Shillong is very good and you can see the beautiful Umiam lake on your way to Shillong. Quinton enclave is part of a multi storied house and has 2 rooms. 1 large and 1 small. Both have bunk beds and a complete wooden interior which gives it a nice feel though a little dingy. The location is off the main road and a walk from police bazaar. The road leading to the hotel is pretty narrow…
Visited shillong from 27th May 2017 to 31st May 2017. stayed in Quinton Enclave, booked both the rooms. rooms were very very comfortable and cosy, amzing wooden work done in the rooms. The room price include Breakfast. Mr JP and Thapa served us delicious breakfast and it was suffficient that we didnt need lunch. Its location is perfect, away from market area but very close to police baazar just 5minutes walking. Wifi is available We got all the help from Mr Dhruva Chaudhary, a real gentleman. Gave his Scorpio for sight seeing at a very affordable price.Overall my family enjoyed every minute of our stay. I personally thank Mr Chaudhary and his team of Mr JP and Thapa. I wish all the best for Quinton Enclave.
