Good size room. They provide all the necessary blankets to save you from chilling shillong weather. You can have food at the dining area (which is small) but you have to tell them well in advance. There are no food options nearby and you would need to go to the police bazaar to try something different. There is a geyser but the hot water doesn't stay hot for a long time.

We enjoyed the stay here, the location (a bit away from the city traffic jams), and most of all, the hospitality. We had a cab hired from Guwahati and hence it did not matter that we were out of the city, and also helped in avoiding traffic every day to explore nature around Shillong! The food was nice too, and we particularly remember the nice Allo parottas that we had for breakfast!

If you are traveling to Shillong and are looking to stay at a Homestay, slightly away from the city, the Pine Hill Homestay is your place to go. Well kept rooms with all facilities, home cooked food which the host cooks herself and beautiful views. The host Niti is warm, takes care of all her guests amazingly, I literally felt at home and is there to help you with everything you may need during your stay. Loved the simple yet well made food !!! The rooms are very clean, very well maintained and the Homestay itself is beautiful. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it...

Good accommodation, serene location with Clean rooms. Though it is located outskirts of Shillong, location is good. Food is little costly though, we have to go for it, coz you don't of any other option near by.

We stayed here in Nov 2019 and had a really good experience. Neeti and family are very sweet, polite and great hosts. Rooms are clean, spacious with a good view overlooking hills. Great amenities available too. Plug points are not many so best to carry a multi-pin plug along. I would recommend staying in this homestay when in Shillong !! You will have no complaints

It's the perfect location to stay at Shillong, away from the main city which is crowded and dirty. It is easier and takes lesser time to travel to Cherrapunji, Elephant Falls and Wards Lake from the Homestay. Nitti and her staff are very helpful and thoughtful and prompt in their services. Nitti provided us with scrumptious meals daily and would suggest yummy options without fail. She also helped us out with taxi services for sightseeing as well as drop to the airport. The rooms at the back come with a beautiful view of the hills and greenery. Since the homestay is away from the city, and if you do not have your own car, then ensure to be back before 7PM. Overall, a homely, beautiful and cozy stay with a family who is friendly and welcoming and helpful. Thank you Nitti and family for making our stay so memorable, hope to stay again at Pine Hill! …

We were 4 families all with kids. Booking was done for 4 rooms and we were very happy with the overall quality of service and rooms. The food quality and quantity was superb and they also have provisions for baby food as well in their menu. Loved the ambience of the stay and would definitely love to stay again. Punjabi touch in the hospitality as well as food was really superb at reasonable rates. Thanks to the entire staff there.

We were three adults and were given a room in the back side. Since we went in December, it was very cold. They provided room-heater at an extra cost of Rs. 300/- per day. The room then became quite cosy. I noticed that the windows in the room as well as in the bathroom didn't quite latch well and let the heat out.

The homestay is in upper Shillong area. Travel time to Cheerapunji / Dawki Border is shorter from here. hence this location is good. Elephant falls is nearby .. Rooms 1-4 are smaller in size. other rooms are bigger. Food is good. Early morning bed tea is a little late 7 am or later.. considering Sunrise in Shillong is at 5 am.. Overall value for money..
