I woke up in the morning and the guy in the reception told that my room is booked and that I need to leave now. This is the first time I encounter such an irrespective service from staff. This is disgrace. Besides that, the rooms are small and clean and the hotel is in a great location.

It Was My Family Holiday With My Parents. We Were Traveling To Guwahati From Cherrapunjee. Hence, Decided To Stay A Night At Shillong. Looking At The Location And Neighborhood , Booked This Hotel From A Leading Online Portal. Now.. Once We Reached The Hotel There Was No Signage Towards The Front Desk...Called The Hotel Number. Some Lady Picked Up & Said " It's In The Lane" ( Nothing Less, Nothing More) Actually The Hawkers At The Market Assisted Me With The Entrance. In The Elevator Nowhere It Was Mentioned That You Have To Go To 3rd Floor Now The Moment I Entered Their Front Desk, That Arrogant Lady Manager Arrived. First Thing She Uttered Was "Speak To Go***bo".... There Is Some Issue With The Rate" . I Asked What Is The Issue With The Tariff. She Was Not Prepared I Guess For This Question. Then She Replied Arrogantly That "I Dont Know. You Speak To Them Or You Can Cancel The Booking"... Then I Had To Introduce Myself... Told Her I Have Been Into Hotel Industry For Last 12 Yrs In Front Office Itself And We Don't Get Paid For Saying "I Don't Know" Or Being Rude To Our Guests. And, If At All There Is An Issue With The Tariff, It's The Hotel & Portal Who Need To Sort That Out. She Simply Cannot Trouble Her Guest Like That. Consequently I Demanded To Speak To The GM Of That Hotel. Eventually She Called The GM And GM Somehow Ensured We Dont Get Troubled Further. He Eventually Promised To Meet Me In Person Later In The Evening , Which He DIdn't Yes....They Are Very Efficient To Charge You Like A 5 Star Deluxe Property For In Room Dining, We Didn't Have Our Food From Them Though. Just Looked At Their IRD Menu. Given 2 Stars Only For The Room They Have Offered Which Had All The Facilities Except A Room Heater…

We stayed here for 1 night, the stay was ok I will not stay good. There is no heater so be prepared for this. It is situated at the center point of police bazar. Staff was good. there is no area for car parking.

This hotel is very nice to stay. They have well behaved stuff. Clean room, wifi service, Nice security system, Hot & cold water, lift. Its very near to main point of shillong. Just beside bijou cinema hall.

I got the room while I was not getting from anywhere in the peak season as we didn't have any pre-booking. The owner of the hotel himself arranged the hotel for us and the price was reasonable as our expectation. The room was pretty nice and comfortable to stay. Most importantly the toilet was surprisingly clean (I hardly found clean toilet in Indian hotels) and the water geyser gave me the ultimate pleasure while taking bath. This hotel also had a common refrigerator so that you can use it for keeping your chocolate, butter and drinks.I also got sofas and Diwan inside my rooms (room no: 103). Overall, I am 90% satisfied with the service and 10% unsatisfied because of the ancient lift/elevator system and the WIFI connection was little bit slow but I had WIFI access right from my hotel bed.…

The one and only good thing of this hotel is location,the hotel is in 3rd floor they had a small lift.rooms are very small and smelly,dirty as well.very unprofessional staffs.we booked two triple bed rooms they provide us very small room where is no place to put a extra cot.you can hear lots of sound from outside.overall we don’t had a good experience in this hotel.not recommended.

Hotel Shaurya Inn is located very near to main police bazaar (near Centre Point, Shillong). I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights (17th - 20th May 2018) with my family. Everything of this hotel is fine - location, room ventilation, neat and clean bathroom, lift facility, clean bed and bedsheets etc. Shillong is a cold place and the hotel provided 24 hours geyser facility in washroom - both in washbasin and shower tap. Taxi stand is very near to the hotel. But it is situated 100-200 meters far from the hotel. No vehicles are allowed from 8AM to 9PM to reach the hotel. The hotel has in-room food service but it is quite expensive. Manger of this hotel is very good person and very cooperative. He has helped me a lot to visit in Meghalaya.

Booked a standard single room in this hotel for 2 nights (2nd - 4th March 2018). On check in, I was given a very small room, w/o a wardrobe, just the bare minimum for some one to sleep. Next day I was offered a slightly better room. The manager is a polite person, listens to your problems patiently and offers a negotiable solution. However for solo trips, this hotel is an okayish option!!..

Good room service..single rooms are a bit small but double beds are spaceous and manager Mr. Birendra is an honest and polite gentleman and arranged for the rooms n a short one day trip for us at affordable rates as we landed at shillong totally unplanned..thank you shaurya inn management..Will defntly visit u the next time..
