Staying at WOODSTOCK FARMHOUSE was a pleasure. The hotel personnel was outstanding. The entire staff performed a fantastic job. Especially PUNAM (Always a Smliley Face), who is kind and did an excellent job. Excellent food, especially the egg white omelette and the noodles. View from hotel is extremely pleasant. If you enjoy spicy food, let them know that it can be adjusted.
Staff is not at all cooperative. We stayed here for 5 days they have no breakfast choice. Same breakfast everyday n they run out of stock for food. Bread is out of stock it’s like basic thing. Hot water not coming in room Janis Joplin. Manger is not ready cooperate n give us better breakfast.Very very slow service as they 3 people in staff n hotel is fully booked. Really not worth the price. They need good chef n good smiling staff n new good breakfast menu.
Actually we booked in another property but when we went just to see, we found it very good. So in return we booked for a day....The resort has seven independent huts, interiors are very good, neat with room heaters, geysers, good wall decoration hanging chair . maintenance is very good. Resort campus has very nice ambience picturesque place. Outside the resort lovely veg plantation...... very very lovely..we enjoyed... particularly the staff are very nice cordial and helpful..Mr Praveen the manager is very helpful to that extent he brought some fresh vegetables in heavy rain..he was very helpful on call at any time..The restaurant is lovely ,the food is very delicious and not very costly for a tourist resort..staff Poonam and Bansharailin are very good smiling and cordial and helpful..they made our stay a memorable...We thank them and hope to stay again in next visit…
We had stopped by to have a coffee and we had a good coffee break. We really enjoyed the ambience as it had the theme of woodstock. The best part was the hospitality which was extended to us by the staff headed by pravin the property manager. So a word lf thanks to pravin and his team to keep up the good work. One good place to stop by and enjoy the coffee and ambience and the hospitality extended by this team.
We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate New Year Eve. We were a big group so we had booked the entire resort i.e. 7 Rooms. As we were the only ones in the resort so we had a great time.. it was like a personal farm house. Rooms are decent and value for money but the bathrooms are too small and cramped. We had a great time sitting outside in the sun for breakfast. Had a great time playing cricket in the parking area. Our new year eve celebration was also good as they allowed us to use the banquet to sit and party inside. Although we had bon fire arrangement outside but as it was extremely cold so we preferred to sit inside for most of the time. Only drawback of this property was that it was under staffed. Only 2-3 people managing the housekeeping, food, service etc. This led to lot of delays. We asked for dinner at 11 PM and they serves us at 1230 AM, same was the case with morning tea, breakfast, evening snacks. On complaining the manager told us many staff members were on leave due to new year. If they had taken the booking for entire resort then they should have planned it a little well. Food in the cafe was good but with limited options. Indian dishes were very few. The manager told us the food supplies were provided from their main hotel in Shillong City (Polo Tower) so any last minute changes in the pre-booked food was not possible. Any new dish which we wanted to order was not possible because of this.…
Fantastic place to hangout with good food, decent ambience. 15km from Shillong, located in Mylliem, you will find this place as soon as you cross the hustle n bustle of the city. Option to stay over available too
Service is so pathetic that u can’t enjoy anything. It’s total disappointment. View was nice which attracted us to go there but it’s total waste of time and money and also not so clean. I would never suggest to be there to anyone. I am really pissed off
The place is amazing its really different i love it and I love visiting there and the food is fantastic and the service staff is great very friendly especially the manager he's really very helpful ,😀😊
The place is right on the main road just after ML 05 CAFE. Its beautiful with a garden in the middle and paddy fields on the side, just amazing. Its cute, with a period jeep from 1969 since the woodstock festival was in 1969 and this place is a tribute to that one. Food was good, coffee was superb. Rooms are nice, large, with an authentic cane swing in them. I stayed in the Ravi Shankar Room.
