My decision to travel to Matheran was only because it is Covid Free and why not when people at Matheran have actually taken enough measures and precautions to maintain the tag of "Covid Free". At the entry of Dasturi Point our temperature and oxygen level was checked. Person roaming without a mask in the market was charged a fine of Rs. 500.
With these rules and regulations we entered the hotel Adamo The Resort situated in the market. Our temperature was checked right at the entry. There were different instruction stickers pasted across the property which made it easier for us to locate the Covid19 measures. At the entry there was a tent card placed that stated pick up your essentials. Soaps and shampoo were picked up by the guests. We stayed in Villa. Listing the pros of the Resort:
• Clean room
• Well maintained property
• Covid ready
• well behaved staff
• Even if the pool were not opened it was clean and maintained
• Quick service

During this covid times, Adomo is one of the hotels who have taken utmost care on safety, sanitization, distancing and cleanliness in their rooms, dining area and premises.

Staff is vaccinated and go 1 step ahead to support the guests. Mr Parvez was 1 such staff who guided us well.

Food is super delicious and good quality.

Dining area was sanitized frequently.

We could stay in Adomo without any hesitation or worry in mind.

All the best Adomo team and thanks a lot.

We had explored a lot of hotels in matheran earlier and had decided to stay in Adamo someday when we had our pockets full,
This time it was not even that expensive.

The room was super spacious,
Beautiful view of the swimming pool and the trees around from the big balcony.

The best part was they were sanitising each room after each checkout. Good Job Adamo team.
Loved your commitment towards the health and hygiene of the society.

food is the best part of the resort.
few things needs to be improved like washrooms cleaning, maintenance of bathroom accessories which could have impact on ratings. other than that resort is good.
pool is not accessible due to pandemic.
staff were co-operative with their guests.

We went to stay at Adamo resort , Matheran for 2 nights and 3 days. The stay was absolutely pleasant, the rooms were nicely kept (decor). The Food available at the resort was exceptionally good. Whether it's Veg or Non-veg. The only thing is that the standard in Matheran hotels is they charge you for water(mineral) and there rule is you only get one bottle for a day (mineral bottle) and even if you want to have other Normal water there HK staff will deny service if you are not having charged water bottle. You need to get to the restaurant or at fron desk and get the water filled on your own from the water dispenser availed for general guest.

Visited from 31st December to 2nd January. The rooms are spacious. The best part about the place is the food. The resort is centrally located and has several activities for the guests including a swimming pool, games zone, spa etc.Room Service is good as well. The hotel arrange Halloween theme part in the evening along with the buffet dinner near the poolside, which is quite engaging for the guests.

I stayed in Adamo the Resort in Sept-2021 with my wife and 2 year old kid. My experience was very good with the resort. it has excellent space with lot of greenery in house and a swimming pool. Room is average, it lacks some basic facilities like kettle, fridge, in Regent room, but staff was courteous enough to provide hot water whenever required. rooms has very good private sitting space outside which gives excellent view of the whole property. They also have the best food quality in the whole Matheran. I am a vegetarian and tried couple of restaurants outside, the quality which resort provide is the best there is. I did not face any issue in feeding my 2yr old kid. They are little more inclined to Gujarati taste but i liked the quality and taste a lot. Resort also has the best location of all the hotels and is the most happening and lively resort there. they also have a disco, which can be used by big families to enjoy. overall i liked the stay a lot and it was very refreshing and pleasant trip.

I visited this resort along with my family. I booked the resort through MMT with out having much experience, but somehow my experience is good and I recommend this to others. First of all, this resort is around 3-4 km away from parking area but around 500 meter from main market. This resort is almost central place from which one need to visit all points to see. Horses and hand pulled cycle are available on rent. Resort has a swimming pool which is functional and rooms are wide and spacious. Food served is only veg that could be a cause of concern for non vegetarian people. The whole area including the hotel has lots of monkeys which if not door or windows properly bolted can enter into room or create lots of problem. It is a nice resort to spend weekend.

We stayed at Adamo the resort for 4 days in October. The room we were given was spacious, clean and beautiful.
The best thing about Adamo has to be the food! Every meal was hot and delicious and the service was fast, servers were very polite and were generous with the servings! The resort looks especially beautiful with the night lights! Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone planning to visit Matheran.
It is close to the rly station and the farthest tourist points are also not more than 2-2.5 kms. Horses are available right outside the resort
Their game room has good quality carrom sets and table tennis. The poolside swings are the best for relaxing and chatting and just chilling.
A must stay in Matheran!

We were told we will get 5 rooms by Vicky agent but were told they are not available after we transferred money. They asked for more money saying they have upgraded family suites, and on paying extra money, we were given only 3 rooms for 10 people instead of 5 rooms. As a result of things inspite of paying double we are given lesser rooms. Inspite of pleading we were ignored by the staff like Parvez sitting on the reception counter

As far as I remember its Veg only... I have other reviews where people requested for non-veg and that was made available in the Village (their neighborhood resort)
