Three of us visited Matheran after many years. Much has changed, some of it for the better. We stayed at Hope Hall Matheran and did not regret the decision. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. We had stayed many years back and the place has been spruced up, upgraded, for want of a better word. It still...

We landed with a bunch of folks, as part of the meet up to matheran. Its an old hotel with good greenery and lung space. If you are some one who don't mind in staying in a budget hotel, with old classic furniture and not much modern amenities, then this place perfectly fits for you

This is a nice and clean place to stay. It is very close to the main market. The only drawback is that they do not server food. You need to go to the market to catch a bite. The owner is quite cordial.

This property is owned and managed by a Christian family. It is over 100 years old large property which makes maintenance tough. It is spread over vast area in the prime location. The property has 5 large rooms and 3 small rooms. The owner is putting in their best efforts to maintain this large property by upgrading old infrastructure within...

I can't say about the comfort of saying at the hotel during summer breaks for pet lovers or those who are fond of greeneries, but at winter one must avoid such hotels. The property is too much backdated however renovated it might be from the point of view of professional management and modern amenities. The greatest drawback we faced in...

The lady, Maria is very nice and accommodative. The surroundings are green and colourful . There are nooks and crannies where a guest can curl up...
