Excellent hotel, I'd really recommend this one to people visiting Matheran with their families. The people here are really helpful, and quickly responded to our beck and calls. The bonfire, as promised, won't let you down at all. A stroll down the garden is guaranteed to fill your lungs with the fresh and unpolluted airs of the station, and the food is finger-licking good. Really enjoyed my trip there, and I really would like to stress on the fact again that the staff really are considerate and cordial. We had booked an "AC- Super Deluxe Room" with included meals.

Excellent place - You can go here with friends and family. Amazing for girls group. They treat guests in a best manner. Even in package, foods are served hot & prepared immediately. Great place for relaxation. We been for a day but looking at place we extended for one more day

Excellent hotel, I really recommend this hotel to visit with their families.vijay sir and mukesh is very kindhearted .The people here are really helpful, and quickly responded. The bonfire, as promised,and the food is very yummy. With amazing gaming streat. Really enjoyed my trip there, and the staff really are good We had booked an "AC- Super Deluxe Room" with included meals.

Worst experience in this hotel..We have booked through Booking.com. When we reached hotel the room they gave us wast horrible..old and small room with broken furniture and windows. We requested them to change the room but they told us there is no room available.. Our booking was for 3rd may to 6th may.. We called the owner Mr Vijay and he told us you can check our other property which is 15 min far from hotel.. We went to check that after a long journey to reach matheran but that other property was in quite place and as a couple we did not like to stay there. And after telling our issue to owner he started argument with us and after some time he stopped to recd our calls and did not replied to our massages. They gave us another room which was very small for which we have paied 7000/- there was no tv or cabinet in room., no shower in bathroom..but because we have already paid the full amount we have to adjust in that place and ruined our vacation... This is the worst experience we had in matheran.

I made a mistake by booking this hotel. Should have guessed, the way the photographs of the property are listed without any exterior view, only close-ups of rooms listed. This cannot be termed as a Hotel. It’s a shabby lodge. How can they price this place so exorbitantly? The joy of Matheran visit was overshadowed by the anxiety of having to live in this place for 2 days, the moment we stepped in. I felt duped the way the photographs of the rooms were listed on travel / booking sites. I had paid online through booking com. Though the website said that you only need to reserve without any payment, upon reservation, I got a mail from the hotel that I need to make 50% advance payment for confirmation of booking, which I did. The Super Deluxe room, which I was provided for three of us, had hardly any space to move. The bed sheets and towels were smelly and to add to the misery, the Pipe from Air-conditioner led into the bathroom and it continuously dripped water making a mess of the bathroom. On complaining to the hotel staff, they were like – What is the Big Deal? The room was cleaned for us and we had to wait for some time, only to discover that some of the trash had been just swept behind the door. We finally decided that we have to move out of here, Can’t let this shabby place ruin our holiday. So out we went and booked in another hotel even if it meant foregoing our advance.
To be fair to the Hotel Management, they were quite courteous and helping. Location of the property is also good. But the way this property is described with misleading photographs is what got me trapped and to top that, the prices quoted are absolutely not in sync with the quality of this place. It deserves not more than half the listed price, though I suspect that the people traveling without online booking would be getting this place much cheaper. The perils of Online Booking! Now in hindsight, I really don’t know how genuine are the reviews, some of which give 5 Stars to this property.
I guess I will have to learn a lesson and need to be more careful in future.
