WORST PLACE EVER TO VISIT. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT HERE IF YOU WANT A PEACEFUL STAY AT MATHERAN!! I stayed here @₹4000 for 2 nights with food in room number 104. This was horrible experience. These the issues I faced with the hotel- 1. Room was dirty and not cleant. Dustbins were also not emptied. 2. No toileteries and towels are provided by the hotel. 3. Blankets were stinking, they do not use a new blanket once previous guests have checked out. 4. No wifi. 5. I booked AC room for 2 nights but the AC was ON only for 2 hours. Rest of the time they said light is gone and the AC does not work on generator. They should have mentioned this while i was booking for AC room. 6. At night the lights keeps on going and even fan does not work. You cannot sleep at all as there are no windows which you can keep open for ventilation. There is 1 window which opens in the hallway and people keep roaming so you cannot keep the window open. Even for sometime if light is there the fan makes too much noise and you cannot rest at all. 7. Mosquitoes and cockroaches in the room. 8. No water is provided by the hotel in the room, you will have to walk to the reception to get water. 9. There is no intercom or landline in the room. 10. The dining area is the most unhygenic place I have seen in my entire lifetime. Lizards and cockroaches will accompany you and you will not be alone. They add food soda in the food which will cause major acidity and bloating. And you cannot eat even if you are hungry. 11. Lots on chlorine in the the swimmimg pool water and frogs will give you company and teach you how to dive inside pool. The mobile number which is provided on the visiting card is of no use. I called them 15 times in the night and they did not answer the call on day 1 as the AC was not working. On the 2nd day I wanted to checkout as day 1 was horrible and I cannot sleep without AC or fan. But we stayed there for 2nd night thinking its just matter of 1 day. When again i tried calling in the night for AC as even the fan was not working, they picked up the call after 10 tries and then ABUSED me staying chuti** rehne ka hai toh reh aur kal reception pe aake baat karna. Is this the way they behave with the guests. I have all the call recording which i can send it to the owner. I am really not happy with the this. I checked out without even informing them as I did not wanted to create scene as we were totally exhausted and did not wanted to waste more energy on these unprofessional staff. I dont know why have even they kept the hotel open? I am going to make sure I forward all these details to hotels association so that they take strict actions against you guys.…

The rooms are good but the bathroom are worse as hell . Not clean at all . Some of the staff are arrogant. You have to eat their heads for your work to be done . Not hygienic at all and the bathrooms are not maintained at all . Even though the pieces are lowthe hotel is not worth it . The swimming pool has en over excess amount of clorine which makes ur eyes burn if you are in the pool for like 2 mins

Royal hotel 🏨 located in matheran... Matheran most awaited place to visit with your family members and friends closing to nature quality time with loving ones ☺️ We stayed here for 1 days. It was great. Best part was hospitality and food which was homely.😇 It is surrounded by nature and Very spacious property.🤍 Hygienic and safe.. .The food is their main attraction. They serve vegetarian food.😋😋 There are lot of options to eat in lunch dinner and breakfast.😘 Children playing gardens. . The most important thing is they provide WIFI services.. They alot of rooms available 🛏️ .. 2 Bed 3 Bed 4 Bed 6 Bed 8 Bed ( Family & couple friendly 🥰) Must visit ✅ I will recommend this place to bring family here. Best Hotel 🏨

They are Cheaters name rupesh had take advance amount of 2000 now they are not answering my call not refunding amount do not stay in this hotel.From last 15 days i was calling them first 2 3 days they said yes sir we ll refund your money by tommorrow now they are not anwering my call not giving reply on messages..only one word for them FRAUD

Not to stay in this hotel if you have any opetion available. No facilities available for hot water/ cold water, elecricity problem, no any receptionalis at night. 🐜 ants and other insects are insides the room at bed,wall, floor. Nobody can listen your problem at hotel even there is frode for booking

Giving this hotel 1 star because there is no option to give rating in negative. Worst experience i ever had. Room was not clean. Room service was not good. Hot water was there but you can not take bath because water is muddy. Refer photo.

Location is perfect near market area. Hotel premises are decent and clean. Swimming pool is available between 10 to 6 and is clean not to small but nice to relax in water. Room cleanliness - Big topic to discuss. Even after 4 calls and invitation at reception no one turned to clean the room and bathroom in our 2 days stay. Commode was smelling bad always. They only changed bedsheets once. Rooms are not big. They serve buffets in lunch dinner breakfast but we did not opt as found bit more costly compared to market restaurants. Hot water only between 8 to 10 morning which might not suitable for few if you are opting to visit points in morning. Lot to improve in terms of room cleanliness hence 2 star.

Their person will be standing at the station.. Once you get down at NERAL station the person will cone and approach you about the hotel and take you at their hotel booking office and try to sell you the same room which is availavle half the price online... They sold me the room for Rs 2500 which was available for 1500.. And also rooms were dirty, no bed sheets, ho pillow cover,leaking AC. I would have got a very good hotel at this price.. Dont book this hotel... No no no..👎

hotel wifi not worked ,cold drinks not available, wash basin is not individual so problem with family, hot water is not satisfied with time and quality,swimming pool is too small, royal hotel's contact number which are given by make my trip totally not worked so very difficult time when we reached there. foods quality of lunch & dinner is very good.Matheran is cool & pleasant its toy train is very nice.
