Worst hotel for couples. If you are looking for a break from city noise pollution and noise, this is the place NOT to visit. Here very uncivilized and uneducated families come to stay who cause lots of rucus around staying up late night around 1am at night in the play area. Rooms are so close to the play area, you can hear evry single noise around. No privacy at all. I had stayed 2 days and I had a severe headache at the second day end.. due to lack of good sleep as there was lots of noise made by these families. I tried complaining at night but no one was present at night at reception. I would not recommend sayeban hotel to any of my family or friends.

I must say this hotel is up to its mark as they are on good location as well as cozy services are being provided from hotels end. For me what is required is Good food Clean place And good service Which was up to mark for me. And it is one of the good nonveg serving hotels in Matheran where u cannot find such good food (atleast in Matheran). I really enjoyed my stay in this place hoping to visit again. Thank you Sayeban Hotel

AC not working, food very average quality, fixed food menue, you can not order anything except tea, for dinner, their cook prepares food at 5pm. So you have to eat 5pm food for dinner. No veg in dinner. Staff is extremely arrogant. Owner/Manager asked us to go out to have dinner at 1030pm if we don't like 5pm food. He asked us to vacate the rooms and find out other hotels after half day stay as AC was not working. Rooms and bedsheets smell a lot.

Hi, The overall hotel is good, however the rooms are bit small. Other than that, the food options they have are very limited and not as per customer choice. As a result, you will have to eat outside which not feasible always. With the amount they charge i.e.: around 2.5 -3k, they can definitely give snacks or Tea as complimentary. They have badminton, table tennis games but its very shabbily maintained. Note, the hotel is placed bit high so it will be difficult for elderly people to walk as well.

If you want to feel like home, then stay in this hotel. If you are non veg lover, then you must stay in this hotel. Unlimited Non veg food. Sayeban charge very reasonable including food and very silent area. No noise at all.

This is the worst hotel in Matheran. Not only food and rooms are bad, but also hotel management is totally mannerless. Do not go with all this positive reviews, they are completely false Room was very smelly, dirty with lots of mice. Food was tasteless. Most importantly hotel management misbehaved with us.

We a group of 4 friends stayed at this resort for 1 night and 2 days on 31st December. The hotel is very nice, centrally located but little inside from market so its always peaceful away from the market noise .Hotel management is courteous and polite especially Iqbalbhai their manager.Even though there was 31st dec rush we were upgraded to newly renovated very specious room with 2 king size beds.Food quality as well as quantity was awesome. They serve one of the best non veg food in Matheran. They have a spacious garden for kids in front of the heritage bungalow. Badminton net as well as TT table is also provided. The property is surrounded by dense trees. Highly recommended for family stay.Overall very good hotel to spend your weekend, relax.
