The biggest draw of this place is location. Perfect location right on the strip. If you are looking for a Hilton quality hotel in Geneva, you're not going to find it. Our room had old wooden paneling, and a free standing plastic shower enclosure in the bathroom. Still, they do have Direct TV and Wi-fi. It's good enough.

This is a motel right out of the 60s. Just a basic sleeping room with very few amenities. The shower was barely large enough to stand in and the tv was the size of a laptop monitor. No maid service, no pool, not even a hair dryer! The owners were quite pleasant but definitely taking advantage of the shortage of...

We stayed one night. Quiet. Clean, though vent in shower was about to fall off. A basic strip motel that is probably noisy in summer. On a weeknight and off-season, the price was a bit pricey. The mascot dog, Cooper, was nice.

Traveling on to Lake Erie where we stopped at Geneva on the Lake. Stopped at a winery where someone recommended we spend the night see the area in the day time and drive to Erie. In the morning. Since it was not in season a lot of places were closed but the people and local businesses opened were all very...

Just returned from the Anchor. Nice clean cottages with all the amenities. Our cottage had a living room with direct tv and free wi-fi, full kitchen, two bedrooms, double beds and a bathroom. We had a patio outside our cottage and there was plenty of green space, picnic tables and fire pit available. A little off the strip so was...

This was my 2nd visit to this motel only because it was a last minute visit/stay at GOTL. 1st visit made me aware that it was some-what do-able(considering the other holes in town)for this dying winery attraction but since we were "wined up" enough to make the 2nd stay tolerable! No aircondtioning! Hair in the shower as if someone had...

We recognize that there are times when a guest has over-indulged and that "accidents" can happen. Unfortunately, this guest's stay produced a very large hole in the wall of a newly remodeled room. From the height off the floor and shape of the hole it was obvious that it was caused by a shoe or knee striking the wall thereby...

After reading all the reviews and having a love of 1950ish motels, we picked the Anchor for our first visit. I didn't feel all the "love" and family feel that was expressed by all the reviews, but got some good dining advice from the maintenance man. The rooms were extremely clean and had everything we needed for a one night...
