We love this place. Feels like a resort hotel, which I guess it is! Quiet, well appointed, staff at your Beck and call. Close to home but a whole different world. Wineries are plentiful and the barn quilt tour added a new dimension

There is a paved trail along the lake into Geneva State Park, past the Marina with boats and the beach. About 2.25 miles long with benches near The Lodge for catching the sunset over the lake. Easy and flat if you are thinking of riding bikes or hiking with little ones.
There are also unpaved gravel/wild trails throughout the park- 3 levels of difficulty from easy to hard, I believe. The front desk has a map to keep you on track! This summer The Lodge is adding a zipline Canopy Tour and Challenge Course for adults and one for kids, so that may be something exciting to do as well.
Also, (I love your name!) there is an Irish pub open on weekends in summer that is family friends and serves Irish food, even kid friendly dishes. Hope this helps!
