"Kabbe Holidays is one of my favourite places in Coorg. Unspoilt and spectacularly beautiful, the hills are truly alive with the sounds of nature. Breathtaking waterfalls crash down into the valley and the air is so pure and always fresh. Summer, monsoon or winter, Kabbe Holidays is the one place in Coorg closest to heaven on earth."-Prasad BidapaFashion and Image Consultant (Comment from one of our guests)

Awesome experience at Kabbe Holidays. Calm and quiet location at a walkable distance from Chelavara falls, stream, Kabbe hills and Kabbe viewpoint. Clean and comfortable cottages. Mr. Dilip, Ms. Vidya and team are wonderful hosts who made our stay so memorable with their hospitality. Food served during breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and kids really enjoyed the spread. We would definitely recommend this homestay for anyone wanting to experience Coorg.

Do you need a spark from your exhausting work life and get away from busy cities! Then you have come to a right place. Stayed here with my family for 2 days, had a splendid experience. This place and the food made me feel that I am not away from my home. Me and my family enjoyed lush green trees with birds chirping made us very relaxed. The house was kept very clean. Both inside and outside the house you can enjoy the pleasant view.

My family had a relaxing stay during October 15th-18th at Kabbe holidays. If you want to get away from the hustle & buzzle of bangalore, in a serene and calm homestay then this is the place to be! Dilip Sir & Vidya Mam are lovely hosts and make your family feel at home. Food: Food is really delicious. Infact you can feel it in every meal of the day including desserts. I would rate it as exceptional for both taste and portions. They usually only serve chicken in non-veg as it's acceptable to most guests. Stay: There are total of 4 cottages/rooms. The deluxe rooms are smaller one where we stayed and can accommodate a family of max 5. It has a futon bed to accommodate kids. The room had white linens and restroom is really clean. Explore: Chelavara waterfalls is 2 kms away. There is parking space and a point where it's safe for families to get into water. Dilip sir can take you for a plantation walk and one of the interesting things is to get into a natural stream within his estate. The forest checkpost is less than a km away where you can start your trek to either Kabbe hillds or Balekund or a viewpoint. Kabbe hill is a difficult trek and not recommended for families with kids below 10 years. We loved the relaxing atmosphere so much that we extended our stay by one more night.

This is long overdue. We were there with my parents in early December for 3 nights. Stay: it is excellent homestay with all the comforts, simple and basic, that are very well maintained. The rooms are close to the main home but are separate and can give you ample privacy. Rooms overlook the greenery and their ancestral home. You will see greenery as far as your eyes can go. Mr Dilip and his wife are very warm and fun loving couple. They are always happy to have a chat and guide you on things to do. Food: out of the world every single course. I prefer their food over Tamara and other luxury places. We were all vegetarians but the food was simply delicious and probably the one reason I would visit this place again - Even the desserts were home made and irresistible. Surrounding: Their plantation is pretty extensive and makes for a fantastic walk anytime of the day. If you like trekking then you can also go to Kabbe hills and a hill adjacent to it. View from the top of these hills is breathtaking especially on a cold winter morning Overall a highly recommended place if you want to just relax, enjoy the peace and be away from the hustle bustle of the towns

My first visit to Coorg and I must say it was an awesome experience. The beautiful coffee plantation and pepper grown throughout was eye catching. We were a group of 15 and we stayed at Kabbe Holidays a well maintained property by Dilip and Vidya. A lovely couple, so polite and friendly .... We enjoyed their company as much as the place....they made us feel at home ... the food was awesome too. Hot Akki roti’s with sesame chutney was one of the best. The early morning trek to the mountains was another experience where we felt the clouds so closely almost touching us .. a breath taking view. A must visit place !

The property is blessed to be located in the lap of nature.. such amazing sights amidst a serene and spectacular environment.. you feel so much at peace instantly. The hosts Mr. Dilip and Ms.Vidya are so hospitable and such a lovely couple - we felt we were visiting family, they took care of us so well. The food was simple but so delicious.. Mr. Dilip also hosted tours around his plantation and the forest/hill nearby. We enjoyed our stay immensely here, and would love to go back again.. We were a family of 7..and had booked this place for a few nights. We were a little apprehensive at first as it was our first homestay experience in India. We were in for a very pleasant surprise as this place was perfect for our time off from our busy city lives. Coorg is especially known for its gorgeous homestays. The property is located about 40 mins from Madikeri but the road right to the property is nice and the drive is good too. The hosts Dilip and Vidya are super friendly and warm. Very kind and helpful with equal amounts of care and hospitality. The property itself is huge with clean and well kept accommodations. The property backs upto Kabbe hills and there are a few treks you can do within the property. Dilip also guided us to a small stream nearby which was lovely. The food here is delicious and well made by Vidya and her team of cooks (Thimaya and one other person). Please note that there arent many eating out options closeby but nothing to worry if you are staying here. The staff is polite and courteous. There were power outages in the evening but they have backup, so no worries there. We will definitely want to go back to Coorg for its spectacular beauty and this place.

We had to book here in an urgency since we had to our earlier booking at a different place at the last minute. We looked at TripAdvisor reviews and decided this place may be worth it though we could stay only for one night as he had other bookings. The only downside of the place is it is about 45 km from madikeri and takes an hour or so to reach. But the hosts are extremely cordial and helpful.Mr. Dilip was kind enough to take us a on a very informative tour on his plantation . Next day morning he took us to the top of the Kabbe hill. The hospitality is of a different order altogether . The jaggery coffee is one of the best things I have tasted in Coorg and there was no dearth of it. The food is truly exquisite and we really enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast. The timings for both are a bit late for my usual timings but then this is a homestay and not a hotel / resort. The core point which he succeeded at is he made the homestay a "stay at home". I have stayed at quite a few excellent homestays in India but this one is unique given the hosts' personal attention and care and the excellent cook. Would love to visit again and have already recommended this to my friends in case they wish to visit Coorg.
