This was an ideal place for us to wind up and chill. I have seen very few disciplined and sort out guy like Chirag. You feel happy just by interacting with him. Also, he has a very brilliant son, Adi. If Adi is around, he will gladly take you to different trekking routes. It was a shame we missed that as we slept like a log after a tiring day. The cottages are tastefully done with an open air bathroom..I just loved the concept. The food is simple yet delicious. Chirag takes every care to offer you snacks for your evening sessions. I just loved after the night fall. The place gets almost serendipitous with the sound of critters and insects. You will get a peaceful slumber just by listening to it.
We got stuck next morning on a mud trail and got late for lunch. Chirag made it sure that we not only get food at that odd hours but warm food as well. Overall, I think Chirag is doing a phenomenal job to run the show. You get to see pets and horses roaming around the estate. The chicken served was delicious both days and even they served us gulab jamun which was made in-house from scratch. They lit wood fire to warm your bathing water and the concept is so cool to keep the place green.
Only the approach road is a bit patchy with mud but should not be a problem even for hatch backs. I am definitely coming back and all the best to you, Chriag and Adi...keep rocking guys :)

Relax in the midst of nature: coffee plantations, pet animals, dogs, lakes...with tasty homely food and beverages. Host/owner of the property /homestay is very friendly, chilled out, cooperative person. His staffs are also very, they have good service with great food. They have independent cottages with all the required amenities. This place follows environment friendly procedures and encourages people to do so. Which is great!! Great place to take your pet/dogs and have an awesome vacation. Very good for morning walkers, bird watchers, photographers, and also you can in fishing in the pond with some good catch. Overall a nice, relaxing environment.

Went with my friends on a 2 day trip this weekend. Went there based on a recommendation and was not disappointed . My rating - Ambiance 10/10, Hospitality 10/10, Cleanliness 8/10, Food 8/10, Value for money 9/10.
If you love nature and want to spend a nice quiet weekend amidst nature then this is the place. Just sit on the balcony or go for a swing near the pond and listen to the birds. They will wake you up in the morning. The home stay is pet friendly and people can bring their pets. In fact they have at least 7-8 dogs and puppies themselves. We were fortunate to have Adith (son of Mr. Chirag, the owner) who gave us ample company and even took us to a trek to the highest point of their property which is a staggering 650 acres. Since it was raining profusely throughout our stay, we decided to spend our time on the property itself and have a laid back holiday instead of running around. They offer Malnad style food which was good because it had variety and being a Bengali, we were delighted to have fresh Catla fry which was a pleasant surprise for us. Overall it was a really nice experience and will be a repeat visit for us when we go there again

A compete zone for recreation and joy. So my trip with Swarga was with my colleague, little I knew about them then but now we share a common zone of entertainment. Swarga is a beautiful place having a mix of individual cottages and comman areas and animal life.
Our mornings where spent with sunshine on our face by the lake on a swing. Afternnon a beautiful trekking experience around the resort exploring the wild spices and adventure. Evening having a nice chill near the common area with the animals around. ( Dogs and Horses).
Will surely visit again, with same friends, future friends and family with my little dog.

Had been here with friends. The place is truely mesmerising. It was a rebonding experience with friends, away from the hustle of the city. The facilities were no less than fully furnished hotels. I'm a veggie. The vegetarian food was unbelievably good. Will surely come again with family n friends!! Thanku Swarga. U guys ve been an amazing host!!

No welcome gestures. Even approach road is left in a bad state. I thought owners would care to keep this small stretch from main road motorable. I agree people want to stay out week ends in a quiet place. But this place is terrible. In the name of eco tourism, there is nothing that keeps you comfortable. You have to wait till 7.30AM to sip you first coffee. I have been to quite a few home stay in Kerala. Chirag need to spend few days in those lovely home stay in Wynad other places and learn what is meant by hospitality. Estate itself is in pretty bad shape, no landscaping horseshit every where. Its absolute waste of time, effort, money. There was no power through out night and solar back up is only for a small bulb. we were left to the mercy of mosquitoes. Be careful Dont be fooled by attractive names.

The host does not care!. The place does not have basic stuff like hot water, good food, clean cutlery etc. There is no grocery for the staff to even cook for you!!!. Its an absolute waste of time, money and effort.

We absolutely loved every bit of our short holiday to Swarga this past weekend. Right from the word go, Chirag was very communicative and clarified all our doubts. We reached the place without any difficulties at all, since the location is clearly marked on google maps. Adequate signboards exist from the main road to the homestay itself. We went to Bisle forest on one day and this homestay is perfect to hit that side of the western ghats. Some nice hiking routes can be explored there too.
The homestay has almost 9 cottages and they are very well spaced apart. A few of them are adjacent to each other while the rest are separately spaced out. This allows a lot of flexibility and privacy depending on if you are travelling as a group (take the ones adjacent to each other) or as individuals/couples (separate ones). The cottages are very well kept and extremely clean, large and spacious. There were seating chairs inside the cottage as well as outside in a balcony overlooking the plantation lake, so plenty of areas to sit and just catch up on a hot cup of coffee with pakoras and a book. The rooms are sufficiently equipped with everything one might need during the stay and we didn't have to even ask for anything at all!
Food was served buffet style, with most of the dishes being from the local Malnad cuisine. The taste and variety was extremely good and the kitchen staff deserve a big kudos! The dining area was large and spacious, can accommodate multiple groups at the same time without getting too crowded. Chirag has nicely done up the cafeteria walls with some witty quotes and wall art everywhere, and he plays some lovely songs through the meal.
One of our favourite things about Swarga was about how heavenly it is for animal lovers here. There are friendly geese, around 7-8 affectionate dogs and an ex-derby-racer Horse called Captain which hang around in the estate, loving every bit of attention they get from the guests. All of the dogs are adorable and friendly, and we in particular loved Ginger the dachshund and Candy!
All in all, a wonderful place to visit and stay, I highly recommend this place and more so if you are animal lovers. The service is exemplary from the humble Chirag and all his staff and it showed in the smiles on all our faces when we were at Swarga. Thank you Chirag for the memorable experience, we will definitely be back once again for a much longer stay at Swarga :)

We decided to visit Swarga on a recommendation of a friend, and it really turned out to be one amongst the best stay, hospitality, food, ambiance I have experienced so far.
I have visited resorts even in Chickmangalore which is a place very nearby to this with similar environment and habitat, however they are all no way in par with Swarga.
Very good place to relax, I wish even Airtel network doesnt show up there... I really enjoyed with no access to phones, emails and laptop !
They can tailor according to your needs and the host certainly goes an extra mile to make sure visitors are happy and do not face any issues.
Chirag has really put in a lot of thoughts in bringing Swarga to this stage what it is today... great value for money, friendly staff, tasty food. There was nothing more I could expect and a real nature experience.
Will certainly refer Swarga to family, friends, colleagues. Please feel free to write if you have any questions - rkv9000@gmail.com
Hoping to visit in July
