I have holidayed across India and abroad and I would consider Brij Villa as one of the best experiences ever. We stayed in Imperial room on 1st floor on the garden side (Room 103). I would assume that Room 101 and 103 are the best in the property overlooking the sit-out. The rooms are spacious with a heater. It also had an anteroom for dressing and cupboards as well as a spacious bathroom. The beauty of the place was it had the colonial look on the outside but modern facilities inside. However, the most important aspect of this place which made all the difference was the service. Sachin Rana and his team was spectacular and I dont think I have ever experienced a service of this level. It was personalised and homely. You could order what you want to eat for each meal and the time you want to have it. Since we were in a holiday, we decided to start the late and hence requested for breakfast to be served around 1030 and we got what we wanted at the time we wanted. Every evening we were offered nice snacks along with hot tea in the garden sit-out. Every now and then Atul (caretaker) would come and check with us if we needed anything. Who would do this in today's day and age? The team also suggested us the sightseeing to do considering it was heavy rains all around. They would provide us with big umbrella so that we can handle the rains. Point to note: Ground floor rooms are not ideal in monsoon as water from the ground makes it damp. The approach to the property is tricky as it has some sharp turns and has a steep rise and hence one needs to know hill-toe driving to climb up the steep. Avoid taking big cars as the 3 sharp turns are tough to maneuver. And lastly, Sachin and team would ensure you are fed well during the stay and hence if you are a small-eater then you are in for a trouble. We recently visited Dalhousie with family of young kids. We stayed at Brijvilla for 4 nights and must say, Brijvilla was the highlight of our tour. It offered everything that made our holidays extra special. Be it the serenity of the mountains, luxury of 5* villa, custumosied personal attention, amazing people who took care and looked after us n kids so well… We truly enjoyed staying here. The villa is located in natures lap, surrounded by deodar trees all around, mist and fog from the valley beneath. The rooms are v well kept, the outdoor seating is v relaxing .. evening campfire was one of the best parts . The team is so amazing and nice . They ll cater to your food requirements as needed.. so you absolutely feel at home .. I strongly recommend this place

We stayed at Brij Villa Dalhousie in last week of June. Our stay was a very pleasant experience . The property is aloof from rush and is surrounded by tall green deodars. Mr Sachin and his staff is very polite and caring. We had a memorable stay and I definitely would recommend it to others.

Our stay was excellent. The property was beautiful and cosy. The room was beautiful as well. More than the property, our stay was made more memorable by the care and attention given by Mr Sachin and the rest of the staff. They took pains to arrange a candle light dinner for our anniversary and packed food for us for our trek and return home. They went above and beyond to make our stay with them amazing. All this care and attention makes the price worthwhile. Would definitely love to go back there.

We had a good 3 night stay. They give personalized attention. Sachin, Nitin, Atul, Manoj etc took care of all our needs. We played indoor games. They cooked whatever we wanted to eat. Food was good. Only downer is the quality of room cleaning. They can increase the same. Overall if you are looking for a villa experience in dalhousie, don’t look further. They put a fire for heating in the evening and are always smiling whenever you call

The place is unbelievably beautiful, cozy and best part of the stay is the staff. Mr. Sachin, the manager is an outstanding organiser, affable, alert and has excellent control on every small detail. Brijvilla is most certainly the hidden gem of Dalhousie. From its central location to its stately and elegant interiors, tailor made menus and the impeccable service, one cannot find fault with any aspect of the stay. The manager Sachin has the most astounding knowledge of the area and goes the extra mile to escort and encourage guests to discover local restaurants. Nitin, Atul and all of the Staff at the villa are available round the clock to recieve guests and provide fabulous service, with a gentle smile. Chef Harvinder took note of our dietary needs on day 1 and we found the food to be homelike, and utterly delicious. The children were treated with pancakes everyday and many rounds of games with the sporty staff. The daily afternoon hi tea deserves a special mention. Always made fresh to order with new items added on a daily basis, it was the highlight of one's stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The British era lounges on both the floors add a touch of privacy to guests staying on either floor, making the guests feel like they are in their own living room.
