Best Western Dalhousie has one of the Best locations on a hilltop overlooking thickly forested hills of Western Himachal Pradesh. We stayed there with our extended family as a big group in the third week of June. The staff is pleasant, courteous and helpful. Front facing rooms have a fabulous valley view while some of the back facing rooms overlook the garden with great ventilation. The entire hotel building has been fitted with a reverse exhaust system drawing in the fresh cool mountain air ensuring proper ventilation and mostly dispensing with the need for air conditioning. During my entire stay, I didn't have to use the AC even once which satisfied my environmental sensibilities to some extent. On demand, the hotel management was very open to the suggestion of providing us with only refillable glass bottles for drinking water in our rooms and the dining hall and not keep plastic packaged single-use and throw water bottles. The food is well prepared and well served.
The Terrace was another of our favourite spots to enjoy the cool mountain air or hill rain or the sunshine. The hotel provided us with a knowledgeable guide Mr Manish for our 5 km trek to Ganji Pahadi. Even very young kids in our party enjoyed the day very much.
Suggestion: the hotel can make it a regular practice to keep only refillable glass bottles or steel jugs for drinking water in guest rooms and supply use and throw packaged water plastic bottles only on demand.

The hotel has one of the best locations with magnificent view. The terrace is a must sit for evening. The rooms are ok. Need mirror in room, more hooks for hanging clothes/hanger. The health faucet & toilet roll holder collide and the roll, literally rolls off!
Service in restaurant can be improved, stewards knowledge limited. Chef Amit Paswan on request treated us to some nice Himachali dishes like Madra (rajma) and Khati Maani.

Best western dalhousie is one of our favourite destination in entire himachal & the reason behind it is staff court esy and quick response and quick services of the Restaurant staff.
This time I went there with my family it was our two deluxe rooms booking for two nights the stay was very very comfortable and the property is well maintained. The hotel is near punch pulla waterfall which is one of the major attraction points for the tourists.
The quality of food was solo great and very good in quality wise the delicacy of himachali food was mouth watering the dish called madhra was very rich dish and very delicious.
Would like to appreciate Mr. raj and his energetic team harish karnail and anil they are really caring.
Thank you to Raj saklani for making our sightseeing itinerant plan very smooth and very comfortable .
Khajjiar and dan kund was amazing tourists area people should must visit and if you wants to know the history of all these places you must speak to Raj this gentleman will brief you like a travel guilde.
Welcome drinks named kawa which was served at restaurant was mind blowing and very suitable for this kind of cold weather.

Great hospitality provided by the team of best western dalhousie. It was our first visit in Dalhousie and we had quality time the hotel is well managed and rooms are quite spacious and full of room amenities.
Our best experience was in cafe western restaurant the restaurant is in ground floor where we had fantastic fresh breakfast service are so quick and fast. Staff are very knowlegeble and very well groomed, gyegiene of the restaurant was very good food was served fresh and Soo hot.

I have no words to explain about best western dalhousie. It is one of the best hotel I have seen in entire Dalhousie location is in one of the best place near punchpulla and very pieceful ambiance specially if you are visiting the property for relaxing.
The rooms are very spacious and full of room amenities, food was very yummy and very fresh, specially the himachali cuisine called madhra which we had in cafe western it was mouth watering. The interesting part was the cleaning and gyegiene of the restaurant it was excellent also the staff were very helpful. We would love to mention The Name of Rastaurant manager Mr. Raj Saklani and his hardworking team Mr. Anil who was always ready to serve drinks to us in the bar. And Mr. Karnail who were really take very good care of us in Room service and always smiling face.

Absolutely perfect holiday with best western dalhousie, I went with my family and hotel is two or three km. Far from the Dalhousie market and next to major tourist attraction points punchpulla waterfall. Rooms are very nice and lush green velley view from all the rooms, Restaurant are well maintained and very well cleaned the service in the dining hall was sooo fast and quick and the staff are very good listener and sincere they always anticipate the guest needs and always eager to serve you with smiling face. I have stayed at the hotel as a part of my family vacation in January 2022. First of all I would like to say that is was an amazing stay at the hotel. My research work for Dalhousie hotels have led me to the fact that in most Dalhousie hotels the bedding tends to become cold and soggy during the winters. As I had infants travelling with me we had to be extra careful in the winters for Dalhousie as it receives heavy snowfall. Best Western Dalhousie have ensured that they have very good centralized heating system which makes you warm and cozy even if its sub zero outside. There were no hiccups even with the frequent power faults that we have in Dalhousie. it was a very satisfying experience for me. Since we had a big group, there were always some errands required specially for the kids, regarding food, boiling water, extra beds and the service of the hotel in providing the same is laudable. I would like to specially mention Mr. Sanjay who helped us a lot and with a smile always. I had regular interactions with the General manager, Mr. Piyush who gave us most valuable advice regarding how to go around Dalhousie when it experiences heavy snowfall. It was a great experience interacting with him. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The food quality and taste was excellent too.
The only suggestion for improvement I can think of is that the hotel should increase its menu for the buffets to include more non veg items and maybe a little bit more of continental selection.
