I couldn't find better place for the people who love peace and nature. The homestay matches its name "birds and chirps".,it has stairs but u will forget that when u climb that stairs and reach the Lap of nature. The staff was very cooperative and hospitality was at its best.Though I never met the owner of homestay but talking to her make me as I know her very well due to her cooperative behaviour.the food was very tasty and service was excellent.i will recommend every one that if u have gone to Dalhousie for mental peace,do visit birds and chirps homestay
Worth staying.... Its the best homestay I hv stayed till date. The staff s so courteous. Food s dam good. We were with kids and I must say they enjoyed thoroughly. Highly recommended. Only feedback to improve is establish more ventilation in rooms. Exhaust fans not working. There are some steps to climb to reach bt it s all worth when u reach there.
We stayed at BnC from 2nd June to 4th June and I must say it is one of the best places to stay in Dalhousie. Location, Views, Food, Comfort are some of the selling points of this place. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla were in constant touch right from booking to guiding us to the location, to make sure our stay is comfortable. The place in itself is awesome with great views overlooking the valley in the front and lush green hill with trekking path at the back. 185 steps to our room are not that ardent even though we had our 60plus parents with us. Not sure whats the fuss about, infact those steps helps your lungs to pump out more CO2 and breathe in more O2!! Rooms were nice, spacious and clean. Special thanks to Chef Prakash and helper Ajay. These guys make this place more awesome with ever smiling faces and always ready to tend to your needs. Food was what we eat at our home. We carried lunch parcels with us every-time we went out and never regretted it. The hotels in Dalhousie serve the worst food we ever had. Our 4 year old son loved the dogs Aura & Sugar and quite missed them we came back. All in all this place is a must stay when you are in Dalhousie.…
You are going to ruin your trip if you select this place. Room full of mosquitos, they will ask for unnecessary charges on checkout. Also there are 270 stairs to the room and they will not even help you carrying luggage to the rooms
Staff was so good , food was delicious. Location is so beautiful. Overall very nice homestay.First I hesitate bcoz of no of steps but once you reach the top , the scene was so beautiful I forgot all the pain of climbing the stairs.
