This hotel has no maintenance, the amount they charge is so much, but its not worth paying. The bathroom doesnt have a proper drainage. The blanket they they provide is horrible (Am i renting a home stay?). Pathetic hotel at this price! You really need to improve what you have, or reduce the prices. Anyway i am giving a 2 star because the reception was at least fine!

When you enter the hotel, you expect to find decent rooms, but only the lobby is properly maintained : the hallways are terrible (dirty, with huge holes through the walls, some covered by posters and frames) and the rooms are just as bad : there was a serious humidity problem, the bathroom was filthy (dirty sink, shower drain clogged, dirty toilets, etc). Zero cleanliness, paan stained cooridoor. Rooms have very dim light, looks very shady hotel. All the pictures put up on this site and hotel site are not how hotel is really. Within 1500 including taxes can find way way better hotel in pan bazar and paltan bazar. The management was not ready to accept the short comings in the hotel. Very unproffessional staff and they look untrained also. It took 1.5 hrs for hotel to understand the urgency of my problem and it took them this long to find another room. Even though this room was better than before but not very clean rooms. The hotel is very old and not maintained at all.pls refrain from visiting this hotel.

Stayed here for about 6 days on my official visit to Guwahati. Best thing is its in the heart of the city (Palton Bazar) where you can access anything you need in just a minute walk outside. Location is the key here. Now, about the hotel, its a ok place don't expect too much, but definitely good for the price they are offering. One thing I noted in Guwahati is the hotel rent is very expensive for some unknown reason. Some of my friends stayed in some expensive hotels and even they felt that money you put in is not justified. Anyway this hotel has wi-fi facility but make sure you put a condition that you need working wi-fi all the time from your room itself, because the coverage is just so..so..I had the issue with the hot water geyser. It took nearly two days to get it fixed. Service was good but I never ate in their hotel as there were plenty of choices outside. They also arranged for airport pickup and some local sightseeing. I recommend it if you are looking for a decent place to stay at night. They have ample parking place available in case you are driving.…

I stayed here for a couple of days with my family. First let me say some good points - 1. Location is awesome. The locality commonly called "Manipuri Basti" is in the heart of the city and very near to railway station (6-7 minutes walking distance) 2. Parking space available 3. Food was awesome and the complimentary breakfast was so cool 4. They arranged me a Swift Dezire in the morning for Shillong in competitive price. 5. All the guys were polite, though they can do little whatever I asked for :-) 6. Auto stand is just a stone throw away distance from the hotel 7. External decoration good 8. ATM just 2 minutes walking distance What I don't like - 1. My primary reason to book this hotel is the Wifi. Manager said, they have some problem with the Wifi but they will fix it in few hours. But in 2 days, that were never fixed. 2. Rooms are not so cleaned and the bathroom condition was so bad 3. Room service guys are so late that at some point, I decided to leave the hotel 4. Food was costly 6. No view from window. Anyways, I didn't expect a good view from a hotel located in a congested busy area. But the location is so good, you can avail food from outside - chinese, mughlai, bengali food all were 2-4 minutes walking distance Fancy market is also very near. It takes 7-8 minutes through auto. Very bad rooms, all of them are dirty. Bathrooms never get cleaned, dirty commode and basin. Beds are so small that you can hardly sleep. They cheated us by taking extra money for 3 person and provide a dirty mattress to sleep on dirty floor. Why cleartrip make arrangement with such hotels? ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND

I stayed at Hotel Fame City, Guwahati, Assam for 2 nights. Although a very short time, still I loved being there. Comfortable rooms with average price, adequate car parking zone in front of the hotel, the restaurant serves great food...breakfast..lunch...all yummmyy!!!! Bathrooms are great to use...you can get both hot n cold water ..very neat and clean ones!! Their room services are good too. Overall a good hotel..good to economy..good to relax and enjoy with your family. I wish all the best for this hotel.
