Took a break and what a worthy break it was. Relaxed time with a serene view of Brahmaputra with it. It's definitely one place I will keep visiting for sure. Hygienic place and good service to add to the comfort
I had an amazing stay here. View of The Brahmaputra is uninterrupted and divine. Terrace gives you a perfect view of mesmerizing sunset. The place is away from the hustle and the chaos of the city. I am looking forward to visit again.
My recent stay at Rajputana Luitvista in Guwahati was beyond ethereal. Nestled at the top of the Kharguli Hills gives an uninterrupted view of the mighty Brahmaputra. Every corner of Rajputana Luitvista is specially curated for us to stay, relax and enjoy our time far from the crowd and our stressful lives. The room was spacious, comfortable, super hygienic and clean, nicely decorated, covered all needs. All staff members were professional and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou once again.
Let me start by saying that this hotel is very hard to find. Even local taxis, autos and food delivery vehicles all needed to contact the hotel to get directions to the door. When we arrived at the hotel, the person at the door didn't even have our booking. We had booked a couple of months earlier on Booking.com and had the confirmation paperwork with us. I had booked a Deluxe King room but was put in a standard twin room. It seemed suitable enough - and it had a balcony. There was no light in the bathroom and I complained to the management. He first said he would move us but then came back and said he would replace it the day after. As we were staying 3 days this seemed OK - and to his credit he did fix it. As the hotel is a couple of kms from restaurants (and up a hill) we ate in the hotel the first night. We asked for spicy food but it came bland. We were also told to eat our food in almost darkness out on the balcony. The man who delivered it left his phone with the torch on so we could see, There was a party happening on the balcony on the floor below us (not guests - but probably friends of the person at the desk), which spoilt the serenity of the evening. (We later found out the manager was away and the staff were running the place in his absence). To their credit, most of the staff tried hard but as there was only one person who spoke English (and he wasn't there all the time or on his phone when he was) it was very difficult to get assistance. When we came to pay, he tried to charge us for the Deluxe King room. When I pointed out that we stayed in the twin room he finally backed down. He charged us Rs4500 + taxes per night but I just see that I can get the same room online for Rs3334 (including taxes) so we were cheated there also. All in all, a very disappointing stay and I would recommend looking elsewhere when in Guwahati.…
We had a wonderful time a Rajputana Luit Vista in January. The place is away from the hustle and bustle of Guwahati on a hilltop with 8-9 spacious, comfortable rooms, living area, dining area and a nook for books. The few outdoor areas ( terraces) give a good space to lounge or eat or enjoy the open or view the amazing sunsets. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff and manager helpful to make the time memorable.
