Smack in the middle of a busy market (Fancy Market) and at a crowded intersection stands this old hotel. The rooms are OK but the staff and the service is bad. I wouldn't stay here again. And besides if you have a vehicle dont choose this place. There is no place to park and the space outside the hotel is busy with hawkers.
This is a budget hotel at Fancy Bazar Guwahati, rooms are spacious and clean. One can easily reach to the hotel as it in main market area. Good restaurants are around the hotel so you can enjoy good food in walking distances, staffs are also helpful and polite. They also have their own restaurant and they serve breakfast in the room itself. The only thing which can be looked after that is- the food items at their restaurant is bit over priced. More over it is a good option either for your family travel option or your business travel option.
Stayed 1 night on a business trip. Facilities are okayish. It`s Bang in the middle of the bustling Fancy Bazar. Has now tied up with OYO Rooms. check in was a breeze. Breakfast very Average. Overall, a very Average experience
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights from June 7, 2016 to June 9, 2016. I booked 2 rooms of this hotel. The rooms were fine. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city of Guwahati. The staffs of the hotel were very good, polite & also helpful. They provided me car for going Kamakha Temple at 5:15 AM. They provided me bed tea also at 4:45 AM on special request. The hotel provides very nice complementary breakfast. The food quality is superb.
Four of us stayed there for three nights.helpful front office staff, average breakfast and not so good food in inhouse restaurant but on the whole a pleasant stay and location is great to access various Goa attractions.i shall recommend a stay in upper floors for more privacy and a visit to their other restaurants LA BRISE and SARASWAT THALI at Novotel goa resort.
