Excuses for everything! Untrained and under staffing : Due to the Covid Lack of proper food facilities : The resort is located on an island Poor maintenance & filthy, cluttered poolside area : Weather Insects in room: Nature The resort owners just want to snatch money from the travellers without providing the proper services. How could they charge for something that they are not capable of providing? The resort is pretty good but the price is overwhelming and no way justifies it. Unclean dirty utensils Poorly maintained and mismanaged Only more people were like Salma who was skilled enough and always smiling. Sometimes it felt as if the scarcity was being created and customers only manipulated due to lack of interest and training skills. Only for sense gratification a person goes to a family trip and what's the point if inspite of spending a fortune, you're still dissatisfied!? Better options are available for a lesser price range like Sea Shell resort, Silver Sands Resort. Please don't fall prey to the rosy pictures on their online sites. Toiletries were much much below average standards(like that of a two star hotel) and you must take your own personal care products.

Such a nice property, run down for want of housekeeping and maintenance. I was aghast seeing dead insects on the flor at the time of our checking in on 28 th April when our group of eight friends stayed there for two nights. The towels had holes and drinking water was in short supply. However instead of giving one rating, I would give two for the staff. Very helpful despite being untrained. Very sincere staff. Anjan Sanyal is a good manager and his staff is the saving grace. Yerrapa and George are good staff members. The property management should spend some good money to face lift the property. For customers it is poor value for money.

We were there for 4 really bad nights. 8 street dogs roaming and harassing us all over the property and the beach. Even at 2.30 AM a dog was barking from our balcony to down below. Very dirty. Not maintained at all. Looks like they don't care for the property. It's only 2-3 years old but looks run down. Don't waste your hard earned money on this property. Go stay at SeaShell or Taj instead.

We selected the hotel based on the location. After staying there for 2 nights I can say that's the only plus and hence the rating. The hotel is badly short staffed and the service is worst. It took more than an hour to get water bottles changed and 1 day to arrange for soap and shampoo. You can imagine the plight of the property. The reception is shared by the restaurant and air conditioner doesn't work in that area. They don't care to arrange for a fan unless you ask. The staff is unhelpful and didn't come to pick up the luggage. We had to get all the suitcases down from first floor while they watched without any help. They don't have an operational restaurant and just have limited breakfast service. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and rather suggest any other property in the area.

My kids loved this property and the ambience. It's a well kept property, luxurious rooms and amazing bathrooms. The pool was awesome. The entrance is a bit abrupt (yet it is astounding )when you enter this property as you directly enter the dining area to approach the reception 😀. Though this hardly matters when you see the other services provided by this place. The food was good here, both breakfast and Ala cart dinners we had here. Also a must mention here is that they have paid attention to cater to smallest of the needs of guests staying here I.e. providing clothes drying stands, floaters for kids in the pool, umbrellas for guests etc. Overall loved the place. One suggestion to them is that if they keep their private beach clean regularly from the debris from sea floating towards the beach with high tide, they could boast to be the best luxurious property of havelock

Representation of rooms in travel sites is misleading. I was promised a garden view room while the forced me to take a room with a view of wall of another Wing. Staff is not at all hospitable. Though property location and construct is amazing but very poorly managed and short staffed. staff says no for every thing except few. No towels at swimming pool no towels at beach. No drinks and food near pool..it's like a prison..most of all small requests are bluntly told no..we at 7 in evening asked to put couple of recliners lying near by on beach side staff adamantly said no. Room service is done at 5 in evening. simple request like coffee or dairy poch do not comes after multiple request. Manager is totaly useless and do not know how to serve customers..

Superb Place, Graceful staff and excellent food. I must say it is a superb place to live in Havelock beach side. Staff is also graceful to satisfy all your requirements. Most importantly quality of the food is excellent, it is kids friendly and vegetarian / Jain options are also available to make your stay comfortable. I must accept that staff always go an extra mile to satisfy their customers. Kudos to you "sandyy waves team" for making our vacation memorable. You guys have always exceeded the expectations during the stay. Thank you.

This was a beautiful stay in dec 2019, I had booked my stay at other resort but the agent took me here saying there was some issue at my booked resort( which I think he was lying). There was a hastle when I reached here with regards to all inclusive meal and stuff( which was sorted after some time by the agent, who brought me here) but after that it was awesome..we stayed here for 2 nights and is very near to kala patthar beach.. its a beautiful resort with awesome food and caring staff. My room had spacious bathroom with bath tub and toiletries. Room was big and spacious too.. the porch and overlooking pool gave lovely vibes. They also arranged candle light dinner on the beach for couples( it's a waste, as its too breezy and sand is all in your food) the ambience looks romantic but must be avoided. Thanks .

Stayed at this property for 5 wonderful Days of our Havelock Trip. It was a out of the world experience to me and my wife . We were looking for a break from hectic routine of mainlnd and some peace , the resort provided exactly that and in a amazing way . Sandyy waves is a nee property that is very well maintained and upkeep is good . - The staff is very homely and cooperative. Cant miss the eve snooker games with them . - The rooms are well kept and are loaded with facilities that can put a seven star hotel to shame. - The swimming pool is amazing especially in evenings with the blue lights on . - The resort has a private beach to reach which you have to walk a pleasant 50 m through a beautiful meandering path that has a alluring appeal. - the beach portion is picture perfect with clear green waters meeting the blue yonder at horizon . One can experience an amazingly intense sensation of calmness and peace . Its an ideal spot for sunrise . Its breathtakingly beautiful. - the menu on the hotel’s restaurant is quite varied and fairly priced . - just outside the hotel entrance one can rent a scooty . - kalapatthar beach is just 5 mins by scooty . - all good eating joints too are hardly 5 mins . - staff is courteous especially their GM Mr saurav . Overall a truly peaceful and rejuvenating experience at the Resort . Would definitely want to come back to havelock and stay at the same resort and if feasible in the same room.
