Overlooking the luscious green tropical palm trees with pristine clear beach & clear blue water a minute away, our resort, The Outback, has created its own niche. The picturesque view and sound of the ocean give a sense of belonging to the place. The interiors have a more contemporary outlook which depicts the transient dynamics between the sky, land and the ocean. The highlight of the property is in our recycled plastic installations, crossing 200,000 in numbers. We have also recycled 200 kgs of rubber waste, all this while ensuring the presence of modern amenities required by modern travellers. Café SaltWater - Talk of the perfect summertime patio. This gorgeous, comfortable & hidden gem serves up some of the best North Indian curry’s, continental grilled meats & oriental fare on Havelock island. The real story can only be experienced, and there is a lot more that we can share. Choose your stay with us, experience the Outback.

Very nice place to spend time. Rooms and Bathrooms are specious and neat and clean. The most amazing part of the property is that all rooms are build with eco friendly material and use of used plastic and glass bottles gives unique view to walls of property. Surrounded by lush green trees. Support staff is always ready to help you without any expectations with broad smiles. Pick up and Drop facilities are are your door steps. Vijaynagar beach is just 50 meter away, just road cross and both Radhanagar and Kala Patthar beaches are just 15 minutes away. The most fascinating thing is that the owner of the resort Sh. Zoravar is scuba diver, instructor and trainer since last 11 years and he is running this resort by his hobby and having excellent knowledge about the Andaman, marine life and off beat places of the Andaman. Sh. Zoravar and his ground staff is having excellent tie up, connection and PR with local body and other resort, hotels and logistics agency.

based on my experience, I suggest, if you are looking for good neat and clean rooms with nice ambience and restaurant and excellent logistic arrangement with peace of mind, close your deal with Outback Resort only.

We went as a group of 12 students on our college grad trip. We had the best of times at the place.
A definite shout-out for Commando bhaiya who takes care of all requirements for the guests, even going out of his way at 2am to whip up some eggs and toast for us.
The manager Aditya is helpful and will help you with all arrangements, be it cabs, scuba diving or kayaking.
The food is scrumptious at the Salt Water Cafe, which is also where breakfast is served.
Ravi and Zorawar have curated the property with love and it shows; one can find articles to read more about the resort's eco-friendliness. Friendly tips regarding managing wounds, hip places to check out and party invites abound.

My eyes first spotted the wall in the room adorned with bottles that was a part of the decor. So my first impression was quite delightful. Always love a place that makes an attempt to be sustainable :) I stayed in Outback for a week and had the best time. The inhouse cafe Salt Water was well equipped with a wide variety of delicious food and good Wifi (the best in Havelock). Breakfast options weren't too many, so on most days I settled for eggs. The beach is right across the street at a walking distance and all main attractions and market places are close by. A special mention to Commando, Laltu and Rana ji, the hotel staff, who make our stay very comfortable. And ofcourse Zoravar, the owner who is also a professional diver, who went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Overall, a great place to stay, meet like-minded people and make wonderful memories. Fully recommended :)

This was the second time I stayed at Outback Resorts and each time it’s been special. It’s the most comfortable, friendly place where everything is always taken care of. They know how to make you feel at home. On this trip I even made this quaint place my little office for a few days - yes they are the only ones to have reliable WiFi to allow you the luxury of working in the midst of this island’s beauty.
Cafe Salt Water is a perfect hangout where you can meet like minded people from across and the food is finger smacking. If you are diver or just looking for a friendly place to relax alone or with friends & family in the midst of nature, Outback Resorts is the place.

Outback is located bang opposite one of the most serene beaches, its a 1 minute walk across the road. The service is great, friendly and efficient. The rooms have all you need for a good comfortable stay + the ecologically built property is right in the middle of a beetle leaf grove. The experience is very welcoming, friendly and has the nicest vibe for anyone young looking to travel and meet new people. If you want a place in the middle of nature yet in the best stretch of the island, this place is for you. Also the food at Cafe Salt Water is yummmmm and I strongly recommend the butter garlic prawns, prawn pizza and lemonade. Definitely a place to visit if not stay at whenever you are in Havelock.

So greenery, friendly staff specially Rana ji and Commando.. all were so loving and helping. We stayed here for 4 days but that 4 days even felt so short cos the way they made us feel at home. Walls made up of recycled glass Bottles, I salute brain behind that.. Eco friendly and Pet friendly resort.. would strongly recommend this place.. Thank u so much Outback Team for making our stay memorable 😊

We booked the hotel online for my parents who were celebrating Golden Jubilee of their wedding anniversary, in solitude.
We ourselves have not stayed in the place earlier so were a bit skeptical. However, what turned out was a highly memorable experience for my parents.
Not only were they taken care of in the best possible way, the staff went out of the way to organize a quaint cake cutting ceremony for them at a very short notice.
A special thanks to Mr Rohit (Delhi) and Mr Zorawar (Havelock) who were most courteous and full of positivity amd ready to help anytime.

I had travelled to Andamans with friends for a much-needed break from the hectic work life, that is when we stayed at Outback Resorts to be in close proximity to the main area of Havelock (Kalapathar, Govind Nagar Beach etc.). We had found about Outback through youtube. We stayed at the property for 3 days and it was the most amazing part of the entire trip. The vibe of the resort is beautiful with all the trees and the eco-friendly design. The rooms are away from luxury and very close to comfort at the same time which gives you a very homely feeling. The welcoming staff at the resort adds up to this feeling. I met Adi and Shobhna who happens to be the owner and the manager (respectively) of the resort. They have such a warm, welcoming and personal touch that if you happen to sit with them, you won't know when your conversation will keep on going for hours. We sat together for hours, had fun conversations, had a lot of story telling sessions about the island and in no single moment I felt that we were merely guests to them. I loved every bit of my stay there. I came back with some new friendships and also left a small part of me there, only to come back again to outbacks ;D.

We made a visit to Havelock islands, Andamans in April of 2021. We stayed at Outback resort for a week. The staff ensured every need of ours was taken care of from the point we stepped on the island.

The staff is super friendly and the food was really tasty. Everything on the menu is finger-licking good. Also commuting to different parts of the island is very easy on a scooty from the resort. If you’re in the mood for a walk at the beach, it’s 5 mins away. Also, the team will help arrange whatever activities you are looking for.

One of the biggest perks of the spot is the high-speed internet. It helped us to continue our work while on the move.

Overall we would definitely suggest staying here if you’re going to Havelock. Zoravar and his team will make it a great trip for you.

A quiet place as not much rooms are available. Small parking available for two wheelers.

Rooms are of decent size but needs an overhaul urgently. Doors not closing properly, bathrooms have rust or broken and poorly fixed tiles etc.

However sleep quality is decent and all the staffs try to provide the best of service available. Room tariffs are decent.

Morning breakfast have limited options but they are tasty and decent portion size. In house restaurant/cafe is a bit pricy but portion size is good and severs freshly prepared tasty food.

If they can provide a bit of overhaul to this place, it would be great place to stay surrounded by greenery.
