We celebrated my birthday at a nearby winery with family and friends and my husband chose the Polly Harper suite for us to stay overnight. It is exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. We picked up the key from the owner's home nearby without difficulty. The Polly Harper room is one that everyone should choose for a special occasion with its...

Stayed here on a weekend. The rooms are very confortable and the views of the vineyards are nice. Checkin service was warm and comfortable. Did not use any of the outdoor seating areas. But we did have breakfast, which was very good. All items tasted fantastic. The gluten free available items were also fantastic. Me and my wife will plan...

The previous reviews that there was little interaction with the owners is WHY I choose the Polly Harper Inn, I'm not a big B&B fan. That's not entirely true, I did meet and interact with Mrs. B at her house, which is about 3/8 of a mile down the road. There are only 3 rooms, one on the first floor,...

My daughter and I had a wonderful visit in July. The architecture is gorgeous and the decor is exquisite. We were thoroughly enchanted by the peaceful environment. The owner was friendly and helpful, recommending local restaurants for our dinner. Everything was extremely clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had a sweet potato, apple, and ham breakfast pie, along...

Wife and I recently spent an evening in the spacious Polly Harper suite at the Polly Harper Inn near Geneva, OH. This was as enjoyable getaway as we have enjoyed in years, and the Inn was one of the difference makers. The Inn is within walking distance of South River Vineyard, M Cellars and Red Eagle Distillery, making it a...

Loved this B&B, just down the road from the South River Vineyard and Red Eagle Distillery, other wineries close by. We also did the southern loop tour of Ashtabula county covered bridges. We had the place to ourselves and stayed in the Annie Harper Room. Previous comments have said that this is not your typical B&B, no interaction with owners,...

Very clean and well kept. We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, but what an amazing experience. Only downfall is in winter all the wineries close so early:(. My husband and I had an amazing anniversary overnight stay. We had the place to ourselves which we liked very private. Its absolutely adorable all the care and planning...

Incredibly clean. We've stayed in score of B&B's. Never found one this clean! Extremely well decorated-just short of over decorated. Very cozy, comfortable, and romantic. Read the other reviews here; they're spot on. Very unusual setup for a B&B. No interaction with the hosts except when you check-in. You cook your own breakfast (well, in our case, a quiche, 3...

My husband and I went on an anniversary trip overnight. We stayed in the Annie Harper Room, and had a wonderful time! This room was totally affordable and the care that was taken was fantastic! The room was ultra clean, and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding! Because the Annie Harper Room does not have an eating area inside...

The rooms and setting of this B&B are simply lovely! The Inn sits right on a beautiful vineyard on a country road. It is peaceful, quiet, and very cozy! Another great feature is that it is literally a 30 second drive down the road to the BEST winery in Ohio, South River Winery! The Inn keeper does not serve breakfast...

“We were in Annie's Room, which is quite a bargain. If the tower room had been available, I would have gone for it, though. The view must be great up there.”

“For a few dollars more the Polly Harper really is worth it. Only negative is it is up a flight of stairs. THe are wide, but there is no elevator. There is a room on the first floor if access is an issue.”
  • Sitting area in the tower
  • Breakfast room in the Polly Harper Suite
