We had a family member in the hospital and most motels were booked so we ended up finding a room here. The room was very dingy looking, smelled like harsh cleaner. I did like that it had a microwave and mini fridge, however, our microwave had a previous guests' food in it from McDonald's-YUCK! Beds weren't too bad, TV was...

From the name of the place we expected a little stand-alone inn on a quiet street. This is more like a motor inn from the 50s. The rooms are big, clean and they had the best linens on the beds of our whole trip. We thought the area was one in which we could walk around and visit little shops...

Don't expect anything but clean and cheap....no frill but nice...very clean...and convenient to the German Village, Schiller Park, and a lot of great places to eat.... do not stay here if you need fancy, or a pool, or a gym.....but if you want no frills clean and convenient......this is your place

The bed was gross, it has hair on the white sheet. The blanket had two dark spots on it and the white sheet had bleach spots throughout it. The sink has long black hairs in three areas. Only stayed on night. Don't Do It!

My wife & I have been staying at this motel since 1986 and have never had any problems. However, being in Law Enforcement does have it's advantage. For the comparative prices of other motels this facility is more than acceptable for a short stay in Columbus. This location is very close to many events and activities in the downtown area....

I stayed here overnight for a concert that was being performed at Ohio Stadium. I chose this hotel pretty much for the price and the locality to the stadium ($20 cab ride to the stadium) ($30 from Columbus airport). I have to say for the price and the standard of the accommodation it was good. The downer was when I...

I teach high school and coach our chess team. Each spring we travel to the National Chess Tournament, usually held in Hyatts or Hiltons with convention space. We had competed and stayed at the Columbus Hyatt Regency twice before, but when we tried to get rooms this year, the Hyatt was booked and none of the other hotels within walking...

My husband and I are Buckeye fans, and we have a daughter who is a sophomore at Ohio State. She was born and raised in NC. When it came time to choose between UNC and Ohio State, she made the right call! Anyway, we went to 3 Buckeye games this year, and we stayed at the German Village Inn all...

Room was larger than expected, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was hot and high pressure water. There was a nice tv, fridge and microwave, plenty of space. The hotel is dated, the entrance is an outside door but the room was not bad for the price. Parking was very convenient and...

Stayed here for 12 nights with my daughter for the fencing tournament. The room was clean and smelled fresh, maybe it was from the cleaning supplies they used? It's an older motor inn/motel, but don't let it turn you off. Stayed in a non-smoking, upstair room which was quiet, hardly heard a peep from other guests. The bed was firm...
