We had a fantastic overnight stay, the room was very clean, tidy and huge! Pet friendly (not on the furniture of course) Check in procedure was excellent. Chris was very friendly and easy to deal with.
The owner was friendly and happy to accommodate. Unassuming from the outside but obviously renovated inside, they have done a great job. We had a lovely stay, clean, neat, tidy and simple but pleasant decor. Very reasonably priced. We have stayed at two other places in town on our travels and highly recommend this little motel as the place to stay in Peterborough.
Friendly service no problems with booking through booking.com some 3 months ago. Room was huge very clean looked onto the pool. We couldn't be happier. Internet worked well no road noise and good shower flow. We ate dinner onsite also top rated. Able to our own breakfast with toaster and microwave plates and cups. Will stay again when passing next.
It is a 7 unit motel that looks a bit ordinary from the street but the owner is fabulous, the rooms comfy, well laid out, decently equipped, a good nights sleep, and everything was well maintained and clean as could be. One cannot compare a small town motel to a metro one, but as a small town motel this one ticks all the boxes. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it.
The motel is very nice - staff are friendly and helpful - rooms are clean and tidy - only downfall is the TV reception - very poor - all channels constantly cutting in and out or freezing up or a message comes up with no signal - very frustrating when trying to watch a show in the evening
From the road motel looks basic however what a pleasant surprise. Very clean and spacious room. Awesome shower, plenty of pressure. Lovely enclosed bbq and pool area. Quiet location and very central, within walking distance to shops. The owner couldn't help us enough. Thank you Rick for a very comfortable stay.
This motel does not look much from the road but the room was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. The shower was really good and breakfast was good. really good value. very helpful host. right in the middle of town
Stopped for one night at this quaint Motel behind the Hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and quiet location. Perfect nights rest if travelling through and great stop over for train Buffs as very historical area with Train museum etc. Room very clean and large shower. All you need. The Motel manager was super friendly and helpful. Adjacent to main street and super market, Eateries etc.
Tiny motel of just 7 units; outside is nothing special, but, once inside, a beautifully renovated room and bathroom comes to light. The room was large and very well maintained. We could honestly find no fault with this place. Rick, the host, is obviously proud of his motel and nothing is too much trouble for him to make sure you have everything. There is a microwave, toaster and jug in the room, but, in addition, he has provided a very well equipped 'camp kitchen' near the pool. This kitchen has an electric frypan, a microwave, a toaster oven, a barbeque, crockery & cutlery - you could cook a feast out there. The best place we stayed at in a month's travel - and some of the places were more than twice the price. Highly recommended - just make sure you book in advance.
We stayed here on our way to Alice Springs on the motorbikes and once again on the way back. Rooms are neat, tidy and have all you need. Very reasonable price and the owner Rick is a friendly and helpful fella. thankyou!
