We stayed recently for a 70th birthday Party and were most impressed with the Motel The rooms are quite spacious the bed was very comfortable which was fitted with very nice crisp white linen. We met up with the owner Peter who was very friendly. They also run the cafe next door.

We didn't have a place for the night so it was a last minute reservation. The owner was sweet and informative. A very very comfortable bed and pillows..... wish we could have slept in late and enjoyed the coffee and biscuits longer that were in the room! Very pleased!

Meningie is a small town on the Princes Highway somewhere on the way to Adelaide and its main attraction is Lake Albert with its many pelicans. Lake Albert Motel is a small hotel but clean and comfortable with parking space right in front of our room. Beyond the road in front of the hotel is the lake and it has...

About what you would expect of a country town motel, rooms are dated but clean and the owners very helpful when the power went out for 6 hours during the SA storms by providing candles and torches. The motel filled up that night due to travel restrictions but we didn't have any problems with noise or behaviour at all.

We only stayed overnight - Meningie was a convenient place just a couple of hours drive from Adelaide airport. We were greeted by delightfully friendly owners, who gave us all the advice we needed to enjoy our brief stay (the most important being where to eat on a Monday night when the town was largely closed). Our room was spotlessly...

Great budget motel offering clean rooms and friendly staff. Can recommend if you are needing a bed in Meningie. Ideal cafe located next door for brekky. Worth exploring around town and a drive around the Lake takes about 40 minutes with a ferry crossing included.

We stayed 2 nights and found it quiet, and relaxing. Owner was most helpful and the adjacent cafe is a bonus. The unit was well equipped and good value for money. Efficient heating system, microwave, kettle, iron and ironing board, fridge etc as well as coffee, tea etc.

Room is very dated, bed was comfy enough, but the noises of a night time, toilet noises, other rooms aircons.Didn't sleep well at all. I found shower floor slippery. BE CAREFUL. All in all was disappointed.

Last minute we booked in, two adults and a child. Greeted with friendly telephone contact, they were happy to accommodate and wait is for us to arrive. Beautiful clean room, sheets and fluffy towels! We stayed both nights and even though we said the room didn't need to be serviced she did anyway- lovely :) recommend.
