First time visit to Flinders Ranges left us with wonderful memories of astonishing history, stunning landscapes, friendly staff at Rawnsley, and good food. We stayed in one of the units which was comfortable, well appointed and, importantly, affordable. Full day 4WD with Phil the legendary guide was one to treasure after some heavy rains that left the countryside unusually lush...

Thank you for the great comments. It is always a bonus to see the country after recent rain. It seems that Phil is developing cult status as the 'legendary' guide.

We stayed for 3 nights in an Eco Villa and it was delightful. Plenty of space, comfortable, with separate bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with daily replenishing of breakfast provisions. Beautifully situated for views and the wildlife experience. The complex has some great walks and is also only about 20km from Wilpena Pound. This is a stunning part of the world...

We spent 4 nights in an eco-villa, using it as a base to explore Wilpena Pound and the Flinders Ranges. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped. The view from the balcony to the Mt. Rawnsley Bluff at sunset was magnificent. We enjoyed the privacy of the villa, the birdsong at sunrise, the kangaroos at dawn and the stars at...

Thank you for the wonderful comments. Andrew and Vinay do a great job with the steaks. The steaks are from Jamestown Meats (Dennis Ganley) who also prepares our Merino/Dohne lamb.

We stayed at the Eco Villas as part of the 'Country Combination' Clare Valley and Flinders Ranges package offered on the Rawnsley Park website, adding an additional night at both Clare Valley and Rawnsley. We strongly recommend these additional nights if considering a visit as there is so much to see and do and it gives the opportunity to enjoy...

We stayed three nights in an Eco Villa, so restful, relaxing and magnificent views of the ranges. Gazing at the stars at night through our glass ceiling was a highlight to the already adventure filled short stay. We did the early morning walk and had a huge out back breakfast near Rawnsley Bluff.

Thank you for the wonderful comments. Good to know that you did the Sunrise Walk before tucking into that big breakfast.

We managed to secure 2 nights in one of these - all we could get - you need to book early as we would have loved another night. Everything that you could ask for in such a remote location. Beautiful food, comfort, ambience .... they thought of it all! We also booked the 4wd all day tour, which was worth...

Very pleasing to read your comments. There is absolutely no reason why we cannot provide good quality facilities and service in the Outback. Thanks to everyone at Rawnsley and The Prairie for the good work.

We stayed 4 nights in eco-villa 6. Villas are built to a very high standard including separate toilet and laundry. We are not aware of anything else of such a high standard in the area. The price reflects this but in our opinion it is worth it. We enjoyed a full-day 4WD tour, a full-day guided walk and a sunset...

Thank you for the great review. It is wonderful to hear that you consider your time in the Flinders the highlight of your trip. I believe that you got to compare all three tour guides at Rawnsley - it would be fun to see your confidential ratings for each of them.

We had three great nights at Rawnsley Park Station and were sorry to leave. We are already planning on returning some day soon! The units were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on a four-wheel drive tour of the Brachina and Bunyeroo Gorges and the guide (Phil) was excellent and really went the...

We went to Rawnsley Park 10 years age and loved it. This time we stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed more of the Park itself and what the ranges offer. We were in one of the newer single bedroom units. A little disappointed as they were poorly laid out. Everything else though was great.
