This place was absolutely stunning. The customer service was above and beyond, the food left for us was delightful, there was so much wildlife to observe and interact with (food is available to feed them), the views were breath taking as was the out door shower. We are already planning our next visit.

Mt. Quincan Crater Retreat is a rare combination of superlative hospitality, luxury, and wilderness. Barb and Kerry have created one of the most beautiful places on earth. Wildlife abounds (tree kangaroos, pademelons, possums, cockatoos, flocks of magpie geese and brolgas, to name but a few). The warm hospitality and special touches (muffins, fruit, port, chocolates, etc.) will forever be remembered....

Nestled amongst the trees, our hilltop cabin became sacred space. At night time we were lulled to sleep by the gentle rustling of the leaves and sounds of birds and nocturnal animals. On our walk around the crater, we managed to see a tree kangaroo in one of the trees and on trip to Yungaburra, saw a platypus in Peterson...

We loved Mt Quincan Crater Retreat - the location is a few minutes outside of Yungaburra with views overlooking the Atherton Tablelands. It was such a relief after the hot humid coastal times to feel the beautiful fresh air of the tablelands. The owners are really nice people and take so much care in the upkeep and special touches for...

My partner and were visiting the area to go to a wedding and wanted to be close to the venue, and Mt Quincan was the perfect choice for us. Peaceful, our rustic timber cabin had great views and was well equipped. I loved the extra touches like the scones, knitted socks, and port with chocolates. Thank you Kerry and Barb...

Loved everything about this place. Quiet, romantic, relaxing and everything you need is at your fingertips. Can't wait to go back. I really loved the outdoor shower and the spa. The quietness is wonderful even though you are so close to "civilisation". Would recommend it to everyone.

My wife and I had an unforgettable experience here. The area, the cabin, the food, the hospitality, the nearby trails, were all amazing! The retreat was set up to provide couples the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle and reconnect and it did just that. Very highly recommended. Looking forward to staying again sometime next year!

As Cairns locals this place has been on our radar for some time - we've never heard anything but praise from friends who have stayed here. So when it came to choosing a spot for our 'mini-moon' there was no other competition, we wanted to stay in a tree house! Our wedding was wonderful, but as both of us hail...

Amazing trip nothing more we could have asked for. What you see on the net is exactly what the retreat is like and much more. Barbra and Kerry make you feel at home as soon as you get there. My husband and myself also purchased a massage each Katie was amazing so professional using all of her home fresh oils...
