Family of 4 stayed 2 nights in this beautiful area close to crater Lake Eacham. Couple running the quaint Tourist Park were very helpful. Our cabin sleeping 4 well appointed, free milk, towels and well set up little kitchen with washing up bits, oil and salt & pepper and other extras usually not provided. Got late check out and owners...

This gem is the perfect base for possibly the best lake swimming and sup boarding in the Tablelands. This small caravan park possesses a simple rustic charm in a pleasant setting with a great camp kitchen, good showers and clean toilets, without being at all fussy. The park's inhabitants include a friendly little coterie of mixed breeds of bantams, bush...

We adore this park. So beautiful and peaceful, amazing camp kitchen! Short walk to the lake. Love the chickens that come when you're eating, friendly people who run it who have great local knowledge to share. Wifi is fantastic near the office. Will certainly be going back.

Tropical setting only a short walk/drive from the lake. We stayed in a cabin which was nice. No good phone reception here, but offers wifi up near the office. Staff are lovely and helpful. We had an outdoor bathroom but didn't find it a problem. Rooms were clean and quiet.

Stayed for 1 night on the way up to Cape trib. Nice campsite with lots of space, decent privacy and nice kitchen area. The setting of the kitchen area is really cool with big tables. Found the place to have a nice friendly traveller vibe and the staff shared some tips which led to us seeing a platypus which was...

Stopped by Lake Eacham on a self-driving excursion through the Atherton Tableland area. It is a peaceful, small crater lake with emerald green waters, ringed by a paved walkway. I had hoped for more markers explaining some of the unique rainforest aspects of lake and forest... Not many to read. Also the walkway does not lend itself for much lake...

Love this small friendly park. The hosts Liz and Lionel are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Easy drive though sites. Great camp kitchen, well equipped and even had a lovely big fire place and they even supply the wood. The lake and rainforest, tableland villages. It's well priced and really a special spot.

This isn't the flashest of parks but I didn't expect it to be and it was priced accordingly (we were tenting). I really liked the rustic barn-like kitchen - it promoted discussion with other campers as people sat around the fire. I couldn't find the light switch in the laundry but my husband did after hunting around for a bit....

Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoyed your stay. I never noticed where the light switch is for the laundry (don't think I've been in there at night!) - Will put a big sign near it - good point. nothing worse than groping about in the dark. Thanks also for your comment about the little hill between the tent...

This is a small van park right in the rainforest near Lake Eacham itself. It is quite well maintained, and the amenities are old but clean - or as clean as can be in red mud territory! The laundry was serviceable, but really needs an update. Owners were very friendly and accommodating and allowed my husband to use the rear...

We actually have 15 powered sites, 7 are drive-through for caravans and motorhomes next to concrete slabs. Thanks for your nice comments - hope to see you back one day.

We stayed in the green cabin with outside toilet for a couple of nights. We chose this location because we were visiting a relative living nearby. We had the option to choose from other newer and more expensive cabins, but we decided to go with the cheaper option. We were told at the time of the booking that the cheaper...

Thanks for your review and so glad you enjoyed your stay at our park. We have put new kitchens in all the other cabins, and the green cottage is about to start. The problem is the timber cupboard doors which are stained, but actually clean. You'll be pleased to know the upgrade starts tomorrow so hope you can come back...
