We were booked into one of the new villas for three days. Upon opening the door, we were met with a very strong smell of fish. We reported this straight away and within ten minutes the manager attended and did her best to find the source. Her husband also had a go, and we departed to join our friends, leaving...

We hired a Britz camper van for the weekend and headed west for a family wedding. We decided to stay here the night before the wedding because the coast was really windy and our boys love to fish. This park is huge with lots of options for accommodation. Cabins, ensure sites, powered site and unpowered. It is right on the...

We spent 4 days recently at Yallakool Caravan Park, on the Bjelke Petersen Dam at Moffatdale. The grounds were very tidy and well kept and the amenities were clean. The friendly staff in the office greeted us on arrival, explaining the area and places of interest. We spent these days with a group of friends and look forward to returning...

Only 11km from Murgon but good to be away from hustle and bustle. No traffic noise. Almost new ameneties. Kept very clean. Choice of slab or grass sites. Dog friendly. Only 2 washing machines & 1 broken down. Getting bbqs in camp kitchen to heat up was too much of a challenge - seemed to take forever. Pleasant staff.

After a lovely friendly greeting at reception, we went to our 4 cabins. Having been in the building trade all of my life, I am pretty sure my estimate of 20 years old for the cabins would be pretty accurate. They need an overhaul, as I think it is expensive for what you get. The park is well laid out,...

Our group was mainly cabins but there were 4 caravans,The cabins were ok but nothing special for the price. The camp kitchen that we used quite a few times was ok but again just so so. Ok for a weekend but would not stay longer.View...

We stayed over a long weekend with a group of 60 at the park. Management was very friendly, helpful and organized during the booking process and upon arrival. The (powered) sites and very spacious with plenty of space to stretch out - well done ! Everything looked tidy and well taken care off. There are some great unpowered sites right...

There are two different styles of cabins and charged at the same rate. Ensure you get one of the newer cabins they are larger and have more room. Bird and duck lice in dam and around cabins Poor service

September 2015 - We chose an ensuite campsite for $43 / night. The ensuite campsites are not all level, some have stair access from campsite to ensuite. The ensuite was clean, but a bit dated. The park is large and is set right on the banks of the Bjelke Petersen Dam. It has a nice pool and is very popular...

Very Generous Site, enough room for caravan, car and boat. No extra charges for a boat and management were very friendly. Amenities block was new and cleaned every day. BBQ areas were also clean and facilities provided were better than a few other parks we had been too. Has new play area for children and tennis court with basketball hoop....
