Stayed here for 3 nights to end our honeymoon and I don't think we could have chosen better. If anything I think we wished we had more days to spend at this amazing hotel. We had booked massages at the spa in advance so the reception staff looked after our bags and check-in while we went and got pampered. We...

We were fortunate enough to stay at this wonderful lodge for 3 days. The cabins amongst the trees were a delight. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, soothing music and dulled lighting. Each evening our bed was turned down and a treat left on the pillow. Staff in the restaurant were very attentive and nothing was too much...

After navigating our way to Silky Oaks in the dark along these very narrow roads and crossing train tracks (mobile phone gps far better than the rental nav. systems), we came around a bend and saw the lights. You could tell right away that this was going to be great. We were met by a lovely receptionist , who knew...

We just had the most beautiful weekend at this lodge, special celebration, finally some time off together. Kind of the trip of the year. Everything was just beautiful from the personal welcome on arrival, the best room, private, spacious, luxurious, most delicious dinners and very attentive and personal service. The location is great to just relax and unwind or explore...

The Mossman river runs past the lodge and is cool and clean and wonderful way to cool off . I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to...

We stayed at Silky Oaks Lodge for 3 days to celebrate a birthday. We visited the Spa each day for a lovely massage - most relaxing. One day we organized a picnic lunch and headed down to the river - what a great spot!! This is a complete getaway - no televisions in the rooms/villas. The restaurant/ main building is...

Stayed at Silky Oaks for 3 days recently and really enjoyed this complete transformation of scenery , rooms and level of service. We loved the rooms that were well equipped and enjoying the tree top views. Sounds of wildlife and canopy of the forest just makes it unique, and the balcony hammock just made the whole thing serene especially with...

My husband and I stayed at Silky Oaks for three nights at the end of our honeymoon. We'd spent the previous two weeks travelling up the Australian east coast in a camper van so we were very much looking forward to a bit of luxury! Thankfully, it did not disappoint. We stayed in a Daintree Treehouse right at the far...

After a morning at Mossman Gorge my friend and I drove to this place. Only the way we rang to see if they were ok for is to have lunch. They were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived the staff even mentioned that they were expecting is. The view of the water through the trees was so calming and...

On arrival you were made so welcome by the friendly staff. The calm, quiet and relaxing atmosphere here is wonderful. Our treehouse room was spacious and beautifully presented. You wake to hear birdsong and admire the rainforest from your room. Swimming in the river and the pool was a delight after a day out. The food was amazing and the...
