We arrived after walking along the beach with our backpacks from the greyhound stop and were ecstatic to see a pool! Lovely and warm. The room was comfortable and nicely designed. Free wifi, a fridge in the room with a jug of cold water inside and tea and coffee! Would highly recommend staying here.

We only stayed here for one night on our road trip, but it was a great find. Danni was very welcoming when we just turned up one afternoon. She gave us very good information on the area. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The motel is good value; very conveniently located in the centre of Mission Beach... More

We're into our fourth day here and not anxious to leave. It's a clean and comfortable older style little motel in a tropical setting. The hosts are generous and most helpful. We have everything we need here at a very affordable rate. The beach is a short walk away as is a number of great eating houses.

we found this motel after the one we should have been staying at turned out to be a back packers hostel (not ideal for to over 40s) The staff were very friendly and the room was perfect, it had everything you could possibly need and more. We only stayed the one night as we were travelling back to Brisbane from... More

Loved this motel - it was just a bit different to your usual motel. Danni was very friendly and accommodating. Nice area to cook and be social. Just across the road from the beach and nice and private.

This place was a tropical rainforest of paths leading to the rooms through lush trees and plants. It was a very reasonable 3 star oasis. At $95 for the night we couldn't have driven past. Yes its 3 star and older style, but that's what we liked. It may not suit everyone's taste. The rooms were dated but clean, tidy... More

We have now stayed twice at the Rainforest motel, once on or way north to Cairns' northern beaches and again on our way back south. Very cozy rooms with a beautiful swimming pool close by. . Only 200 m. to the wide expanse of Mission Beach. A great place to use as a base for your trip out to the... More

We stayed for one night here and found it excellent value for money, the owner/manager was absolutely lovely and couldn't do more for us. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and there's a large TV which was a bonus. My only slight moan was the bathroom as it could do with a little updating. A great stay and I... More
