We had a standard room which comprised a large bedroom area and a shower/toilet area. Lots of space. Bed was comfortable. Outside area had table and chairs with a little cooling off pool. We were about 100 meters from the beach. 10 minute walk to the centre of Mission Beach. Internet was terrible (as per usual for most hotels in...

Booked a deluxe spa King for one night as we were apprehensive due to the last couple of establishments we had stayed in were a complete disappointment. I am very happy to say Eco Village was very nice, The room (17) was spotlessly clean and the bed was superbly comfortable. We could not get WiFi in the room but no...

This is a pleasant resort, reasonably priced and set right on the beach. It's a good base for exploring the barrier reef. The accommodation is fine - functional cabins surrounded by rainforest-lite. The swimming pool is very attractively landscaped and my children enjoyed swimming in it. We didn't use the restaurant, which wasn't open every night anyway. There were plenty...

We had a family apartment which is basically one large room with double bed, kitchenette, kitchen table and bunk bed for the kids (behind a small wall). All the furniture and the accomodation as such is quite basic, but has a great atmosphere. The village is very close (about 20 meters) to the beach and in a small part of...

We booked in to the Eco Village on our way back home to Cairns. I travel a lot for business and have stayed in dongas in the outback and 5 star in the cities. It isn't a bad place but I have stayed in nicer rooms even the cheap dongas have had more going for them. The room was very...

Had a two night stay on route to Cairns and wished we stayed longer. The hotel is about 30m from the beach and the self contained bungalows are extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant both nights and enjoyed good value delicious meals. Its a pity more of the hotel guests did not use the restaurant as it lacked atmosphere.

The cottages in the Eco Village Resort are clean and quiet, the staff is friendly. Food in the restaurant was good, but unfortunately the vegetarian choice was not available in the two evenings we´ve been there. The term ´eco´ may suggest natural hotel grounds, but it´s more a and well maintained garden, so naturalists shouldn´t be misguided. Nevertheless it´s nice...

Mission beach is well worth a visit. Eco village resort great resort. Restaurant was mediocre, the room was great beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful, lovely walks along the beach. Wi fi practically non existent but when you are in such a tranquil place it doesn't really matter. Would definitely recommend

The Eco was great-clean, well equipped rooms and a good location. Certainly good value compared to Castaways! The Restuarant served a great meal with friendly service. Will certainly be staying there again.

There isn’t a day go by when I wish I wasn’t back at Eco Village. The perfect blend of privacy, rainforest and unspoilt beaches. Amazingly well priced and private. I think some of the low rates on Trip adviser would be happy no- where! If you don’t like natural things, then don’t stay here. Go and stay in a Pidgeon...
