Mission Beach Retreat is exactly what you can expect to find visiting a hostel in a remote beach location. Friendly staff, warm relaxed atmosphere and sooo close to the beach! MBT has a great open plan living/dining area where guests hang out and get to know one another. The manager at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful and...

Excellent service! Free pick up at greyhound busstation (5min drive). Relaxed and cosy atmosphere. A good vibe in the "livingroom" with a cautch and television to hang out and relax. The rooms are spacious and clean and a clean bathroom. Perfect Location, nearby the supermarkt, 2 min walk to the beach and to all the nice restaurants. Defenately a recommend.

Excellent, relaxing hostel less than a minute walk away from a beautiful 14km long beach. Rooms are clean and tidy with equally impressive bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The hostel is cleaned every day by the friendly staff. It is very well managed and staff are extremely helpful when asking for information, and will even book tours for you....

It's a relatively quiet hostel in the equally quiet mission beach. Everyone seems to be in a great mood, the manager is very helpful and awesome to have a chat with just like the other employees. All the amenities are clean and your bed is made before you arrive! Also the beach is like a 2 minute walk and a...

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end if May 2015. While it is very close to the beach, there are a couple of reasons why we wouldn't recommend staying here: 1. Staff unhelpful and unfriendly. Booked raging thunder through reception and the girl was really uninformed, the process took 2 phonecalls and in the end, we regretted asking for...
