Waking up every morning to see the surfers and stand up paddle boarders on the beach below, accompanied by glorious sunsets and sunrises - that's holiday! Worth asking for sea view - we had lovely 2 bedrm apartment on 9th floor for 7 nights. It is a great location as you can walk everywhere from here, and also a great...

We stayed in a 3bed apartment 2 - 4th of July. We found it to be dirty and very shabby. The spa bath had a leak and could not be used, and due to this the carpet in one of the rooms was saturated. A lot of the dishes were dirty and the culprit being the filter in the dishwasher...

Had a weekend break at Catalina 2. Checkin was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. We had an ocean view unit on flr 12. The unit was a good size with all you need for a break. TVs in each bedroom was a bonus for the young guests. Only negative was a dirty ashtray left out on the verandah....

I stayed in a 3brm apartment on the 10th level. It was only me and I found it openly spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. Even with the rest of the family or friends you would still be at home with room to move. Recently acquired by new property managers who were helpful and tentative. The entry...

Room in Catalina 1 needs over hall. Signs of rust, wear and tear. Lucky I had air con. Dirt in kitchen draw wasn't impressive but a cleaner was there within half an hour after I made a comment. Spa bath was four useless jets in an uncomfortable tub. Quiet location and close to eateries, trendy shops and reasonable distance to...

We were on the 15th floor of Catalina 11, lovely views and close to everything. We preferred to park outside as the parking spot was very tight. the weather was hot and the air conditioner did not work well in the lounge area. There was no air-conditioning in the 2nd bedroom, which made it quite hot at night. The linen...

Stayed at the Catalina Resort for 2 nights. I arrived after 9.30pm on the Sunday evening and reception was closed finding the keys in the night safe was easy, realizing that the round disc was not part of the key chain but the electronic key to get into the front door, not so much. The room was a little tired...

Location and view from room was fabulous. Near surf club and patroled beach. Games room a bit tired. Pool and spa nice. Suggest if you want to play tennis you take your own rackets and balls because you can only use theirs during office hours which is limited on weekend. A shame that wifi was not free!

Three two-bedroom apartments rooms booked across the resort's two towers. The two in the new tower were light, bright and modern, and came with twin bathrooms The unit in the other was reasonably spacious but seriously dated, with a particularly shabby (single) bathroom. All rooms had stunning ocean views. Tip: make sure you book in the 'new' tower - a...

We stayed 5 glorious days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a two bedroom a/cond apartment on 12 floor in Tower 2. The view of the Ocean and surfing beach was fantastic. It is very close to Surfing Beach and many restaurants near by. The units are also close to Cotton Tree shopping Centre. Each apartment comes fully equipped and...
