First of all, hosts Ken and Elizabeth were very welcoming and helpful and their recommendations were spot on based on their excellent knowledge of the area. Wonderful hosts! Braeside has stunning views of the Glasshouse Mountains as you look south from the verandah of the house which is situated on the edge of an ancient caldera. The changes in colour...

We needed accessible accommodation close to a wedding we attended. Our hosts Ken and Elizabeth were most welcoming. We walked in and were greeted by a fantastic view of the Glasshouse Mountains. Our room was easy for me to access in my wheelchair. The bathroom had wheel-in shower and rails for the toilet so suited my requirements. The bedroom was...

Ken an Elizabeth are very warm and caring hosts and their home is very clean and comfortable. They both went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Our room was very large and had a great bathroom. Elizabeth went above and beyond and made a doctor's appointment for me which worked out great. The hosts...

Ken and Elizabeth's hospitality really made this stay, they have thought of everything you could possibly need or want during a stay away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and amazing views of the Glasshouse Mountains from the guest lounge. Our room was so cosy and comfortable and all the room facilities were of a high standard. We...

We were welcomed at the door by our hosts and received tip top hospitality for the rest of our stay. The accommodation was very good with even port, chocolates and home made biscuits. The massive guest lounge room had great views and we breakfasted with the lorikeets and king parrots. The massive breakfasts were something else - no need to...

From the moment we were welcomed by Elizabeth and Ken this was a very enjoyable experience. The views are better than photos could demonstrate and our room took full advantage of them. Comfortable and clean just doesn't seem to say enough because there was nothing out of place. Little extras in the room were most appreciated. There are large common...

We were in Maleny attending a family birthday party and were looking for a home away from home. The venue is first class with truly magnificent views over the Glasshouse Mountains from the verandahs. Elizabeth and Ken are terrific hosts which made our stay so enjoyable. The room and its fit out was truly luxurious and the breakfasts [different each...

Only three days but what a super location, when we return to Aussie this area & Braeside will be on the schedule. Ken and Elizabeth are fantastic, gracious hosts. Very warm and welcoming, they made my stay an absolute delight. The breakfasts were incredible - a real highlight. The King room I was in had amazing views, was very well-appointed and the little touches (the chocolates and port, candles and bubble bath for the spa bath, etc), showed real care and attention...

“Pick a room with a view, otherwise you are staying in a house which is nice but nothing special. Having said that there is a lovely large common lounge area which is very comfortable with a fireplace so you can still enjoy the scenery just not from your bed. Don't eat dinner so you can fully enjoy Elisabeth's breakfast, it's really very good.”
