We have just visited Ingham once again to see some of the amazing local natural attractions. Of course we wanted to recapture the amazing feeling of class and style by staying at Noorla Heritage resort. So lovely to stay there again and feel apart of this tropical paradise. Jennie and Joe, the hosts are so welcoming and understanding for people's... More

Between Beaches ,we headed inland 10 kms, and found a 1920's renovated Italy meets colonial Australia hotel resort. Low key welcoming grandeur. Entrance palms ,to left dipping pool ,to right greens, and in centre grand renovated double storey fully veranda inviting longings. Out the back ,an enormous banyan tree provided an other prospective to this most engaging locality. Inside we... More

I decided to stop off at Ingham on my way to Airlie Beach. This place is off the main drag and has a huge garden, fountains and birds everywhere. I really liked the old feel to the place. A great place to chill out and relax.

The noorla is beautiful, clean heritage place with beautiful gardens and lot of birdlife .we sat on the upstairs balcony ,enjoying the garden and the peace of the place . It' is unusual to have a hotel off the main road,we found it a real advantage because of the peacefulness here. The hosts were very friendly and we had great time... More

Don't miss the Noorla! Especially if you value vintage accommodation. Wonderful to see such authentic restoration. The bedrooms are so comfortable and inviting. Think Gatsby! A wonderful opportunity to take in the wild Wallaman Falls and come back to such welcoming hosts Joe & Jennie and enjoy a fine wine or just stay and enjoy.

We stayed at the Noorla whilst in Ingham for an equestrian competition. The accommodation is truly spectacular. The rooms have been renovated with an accuracy that fully respects the history of this grand old building. The beds are extremely comfortable and the host's hospitality made the stay very enjoyable. We had a delightful time in a real piece of North... More

We were so taken with our last stay at Noorla. There is so much character and it has been recently refurbished to enhance its historical features. This is our third stay here as we travel often up to Cairns and we will continue to return. So many special personal touches have been made through out the building. There are interesting... More

As soon as you drive into the Noorla heritage resort, you can feel the tasteful old world ambiance. Greeted by hosts Jennie and Joe, as a single traveller, I felt very welcome and safe. My room had a beautiful heritage four-poster bed with tasteful furnishings and old world charm. The balcony where I enjoyed a leisurely drink with other guests... More

To begin, we did camp rather than use the hotel, but the neighbourhood is still the same and the night we spent listening to the bass pumping from the neighbours party house would have sounded the same if were from a tent or hotel room at the Noorla. Noise aside, we were told to pitch up anywhere to the rear... More
