This is a really lovely smaller boutique motel located in the centre of Dalby away from the noisy highway; it offers well-equipped clean, comfortable rooms and super-friendly service with superb, fresh home cooking. It also offers tours and experiences through Australian Country Tours, including weekend getaways featuring dinner in a farm paddock, and longer extensive tours of this fantastic & varied rural region only 2 1/2 hours ex Brisbane. All Covid precautions are being taken as per Government requirements.

This is a well maintained, very clean and quiet Motel. Beds and bedding are comfortable. The Aircon and fridge work well and are quiet. There is no toaster, plates, bowls or cutlery in the room but can be collected from reception if required. BONUS, there is a Nespresso coffee pod machine in the room and more pods available at reception. You can buy a home cooked meal and it's delivered to the room. There is undercover parking. This is my 4th motel stop on this road trip and none of the others offered these benefits. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it

Just a quick overnight stay but really happy with our choice of hotel. Upon getting in the room there was a small hiccup so off I went to reception, there was no excuses just an apology and a problem rectified. The owners are friendly easy going and go beyond your expectations to make your stay great, rooms are comfy and a good layout. Aircon is good, and although we were dubious about it to start, thinking it was to out of the way, it quickly made the room cool, even with the outside temperature being close to 40! Really impressed and would highly recommend this place

One of the most comfortable beds ever slept in, in a motel. The breakfast was to die for and the dinner superbly cooked by Jane, was better than any local restaurant. Wonderful home cooked meat and vegetables. Both Robert and Jane are engaging hosts who immediately ease the travel weariness with their welcoming spirits. They have made an art of focusing on the little delights such as your own coffee machine, art on the walls be local artists and Art Deco architecture at its best. Highly recommended!!!

Jane was really helpful for our group - she booked a range of families into a range of rooms at the motel, she made it easy for us which was much appreciated! The rooms are neat and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Dominoes and Maccas over the road - we had pizza and wine in the lovely front garden on our first night which was great. Pots of flowers dotted about brighten the area and some nice little outdoor tables and chairs. Rooms are quiet for such a central location. I LOVE the breakfast delivery through the little hutch door. Highly recommend!

Excellent Motel!! Couldn't rate it any higher. One of the very few motels anywhere these days that provide extremely friendly and accommodating hosts, comfortable and very clean rooms and tremendous home cooked room service. I will highly recommend the Country Pathfinder Motel to all my colleques, friends and family when they are looking for accommodation on Dalby.

This motel is a gem - ground floor, parking outside the door, everything pristine and sparkling clean. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There are thoughtful touches for guests including teapot, coffee machine and outdoor seats to catch the morning sun! Try the scrambled eggs for breakfast- a real winner. Definitely will stay again.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well equipped with the pleasing colourful decor a bonus. The greeting we received on arrival was very friendly. The motel is well positioned in the centre of town within walking distance of major supermarkets and eateries.

Overnight stop on trip from Hervey Bay to Inverell. Nice country style motel with comfortable bed and parking directly out the front. All ground floor accommodation. Friendly welcoming owners. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, owners cooked us a beautiful dinner so we didn't have to leave the motel. The only problem was the locals with their screeching tyres and hooning around the local streets, so I would suggest a room well away from the road/reception. Otherwise, a nice comfortable stay.

Thanks so much for staying with us and for your review! Aha - I remember the night you stayed - the hooning locals were out in full force - was it Monday night? It was a very unusual occurrence actually, and hopefully the cops are on to it. Covid 19 over-excitement, thinking all the rules no longer counted. It hasn't happened since. Reasonably comfortable room, great couch. TV very old and mounted way up at the ceiling, why do motels do that? Shower very good, however hot water was scalding hot, I'd worry about my kids staying there. Heat pump wasn't working, got a very noisy fan heater to compensate, no word of apology or offer to change room. I phoned direct to book the room thinking that would get me the best price, only to discover later their own online booking system would have given it to me cheaper, unforgivable in my opinion.

Arrived in Dalby for a stopover, travellig with my sister, on our way to Bundaberg. We had booked a twin room and was upgraded to the family room, which was awesome as it meant my sister and I could have seperate bedrooms. The room was clean and tidy with all amenities expected. Coffee machine was an added bonus which was fantastic for a very early start to our drive the next day.
Allocated under-cover car spaces directly in front of your room is an excellent bonus.
We ordered room service for dinner, both having steak with mushroom sauce. The dinner was superb.
Had a very comfortable sleep with no traffic noise. We were located in room 17 at the back of the motel.
Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.
