I found this as I was interested in taking the family to the Great Barrier Reef. What I learned along the way was there was this great Rainforest right along side it that needed some exploration. Daintree Rainforest is an actual world heritage site and this Daintree ecolodge is probably the only luxury properties in the area. The lodge was... More

A perfect place to listen to your thoughts as one enjoys nature in comfort. Away from the usual noise of the tv and the radio, it's nice to hear the water fall in the pond and the birds greeting the day. Just 45 minutes away from Port Douglas where you can get to the great Barrier Reef, it's nice being... More

We spent three nights at the Eco lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived during very heavy rain at night so waking in the morning revealed the glorious situation of our lodge. Elevated position amidst the rainforest, beautiful butterflies and birds flying from tree to tree. The lodges are built with a screen protecting you from bugs which is... More

Daintree EcoLodge offers several cabins/bayans with a private, enclosed patio. The restaurant is located right by a beautiful pond under the rainforest canopy and offers excellent food for breakfast and dinner! Unfortunately, the dinner hours are quite early (6-8pm), which can be difficult to make it to after a day trip/excursion. The location is great for trips to Cape Tribulation,... More

This small intimate lodge is only a few metres away from the road but you are still deep in the Daintree rainforest. The rooms (banyans) are all separate, comfortable and very spacious with their own balcony overlooking forest and gardens. They nestle into the hillside and here perhaps is the only drawback if you have sore knees and hips~ there... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. Indeed, our canopy bayans are located in the higher layer of the rainforest. These rooms are accessed directly from a top car park, with a rather tall staircase that drops down to a central restaurant, bar and reception area. Our rainforest (spa) bayans are nestled deeper within the lower layer... More

Tropical paradise in the heart of the National Park As an out of season traveller the lodge was affordable and quiet with only a minimum of 2 other folk in the restaurant any time we are. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the room was gorgeous with an open ended verandah room that could be shut off as required

The place is amazing. From the moment we checked in we were treated like royalty. The rooms are amazing. The best sheets and most comfortable bed we stayed in our entire honeymoon. The restaurant is amazing as is the spa!
