We were very excited at the prospect of accommodations in the canopy of the lodge and Daintree EcoLodge lived up to and exceeded our expectations. The staff were well informed, helpful and always pleasant. The food (breakfast included, dinner for purchase) was scrumptious with some interesting options. Our unit was spacious and we relaxed on our deck with the sounds... More

Our week-long stay at Daintree Eco Lodge was magic! We travelled with older teenagers and had two canopy banyans, simply yet luxuriously appointed. The setting is beautiful even in the warm tropical rain. The staff made our stay extra-special; Mikki made sure that we were able to enjoy a range of adventures by advising and pre-booking before we'd even left... More

Had the best nights sleep in this place, so quiet and dark (except the one night the neighbors decided to get drunk). Stayed in renovated canopy bungalow. Good location as close to the drive to Cape Tribulation and 30 min walk to Daintree village and already in the rainforest. Food was excellent couldnt ask for better. Did the educational walk... Hello Phillyjoan, many thanks for taking the time to follow up with your review. We are delighted to read that you slept so peacefully amidst the rainforest in one of our Canopy Bayans, and that you enjoyed your experience with us. Mosquitoes can border on being utterly voracious in the rainforest, especially during the wet season. As a courtesy for... More

Room was nicely decorated. Restaurant was excellent for dinner. However the breakfast menu was limited and need to include cereals . Disappointed that you are charged for extras at breakfast eg cappuccino.

The Daintree Eco Lodge is a beautiful part of the Daintree Forest to stay and relax. The villa we stayed in looked over a peaceful bubbling creek and we were face to face with the trees of the Daintree. The sounds of birds was relaxing and you can see the brush turkeys walking around below you. The creek gently flowing.... More

My husband stayed a few days in a recently renovated Rainforest Banyan. The room was beautiful, and the balcony tub was a very welcome sight. The new bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The water bottles are lovely touch and reinforces the "Eco" facet. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. As others mentioned, bug spray is very helpful,... More
