This is an attractive hotel built up a gully with the individual rooms or cabins on stilts. The rooms are attractive and well appointed. The grounds are beautifully planted. The dining and reception area is attractive. It is very difficult to get on to the internet if there is

A beautiful and tranquil spot tucked away in the middle of the rainforest. Absolute joy to wake up to the sounds of the creatures chirping away outside your room. Didn't have the pleasure of meeting Simone the head chef but what she does in that kitchen is mind blowing, up there

I booked one night for my honeymoon. The day before I received a kind email saying the hotel was not accessible from Cairns. They proposed to book another night or to write a letter to an insurance (which insurance ?). As the hotel was not accessible, I cancelled my night and

What a beautiful place. I can't recommend the Eco lodge enough. The bayan rooms are spacious with fantastic screened balconies that overlook the lush gardens and rainforest. They are simply furnished but very comfortable and clean. All you can hear are the insects, birds,

There was only one bed in the cabin we stayed in. Best to ask the hotel if they could provide beds for the kids or if they have rooms for x4

Yes there were children under 2 there (a baby) and I had my 8 year old son. We couldn't hear any noise at night (no crying). They will prepare child-friendly food for you for breakfast if needed (my son loves bacon so no problems there). Very friendly and if I remember correctly, in the main reception there were some children's books/activities there in the library section.

Hi Vchan001, Whilst the lodge does provide all the creature comforts of a luxury resort, we do also pride ourselves on being a truly unique rainforest experience. A part of this is being close to nature, that at times can be a little noisy. Our guest villas do completely seal closed, but we can not guarantee that they will block out all of the noise of the forest. As much as we would hate to lose you as a guest, we would also hate for you to be disappointed by inaccurate information. Hoping that you can now make an informed decision as to where to stay!
