Not the worst caravan park we have stayed in, but runs a close second. The park looks old and very run down. Amenities block is like a dungeon with very little ventilation. Smell was stale and unclean. Sites were narrow and too close together with no sullage points. For $36 a night - no thanks!!

Needed somewhere cheap for a weekend fishing trip mostly just needed a bed. Yes was a bit rundown but the manager greeted us a nice welcome and every thing was good. Think they might cater for the backpacker industry as they have there own place in park for them only. Our room was clean and everything worked and that's all...

stayed one night, as we were setting up one of the i assume permanent residents walked past us swearing about something making racist comments about white people, then proceeded to party all night yelling and swearing. seems the noise rules don't apply to locals. packed up and got out as quick as possible in the morning. should have demanded a...

This annoys me. There is no record of a Martin O staying here. We have 24 hour Reception and we are always available for our customers

Small caravan park close to town. Best thing was a hair drier in the ladies amenities. Thought it was a bit pricey $32 Can walk to the pub and hubby had the best pizza at the pub that looks over the ocean. Nice walk along the ocean

This lovely located site was quiet, clean, comfortable and the two staff members that I met were helpful and welcoming. The cabin that I rented for six nights had all facilities that I needed to facilitate all my needs.

What we had booked was a Executive One-Bedroom Villa, well I would downgrade that to just a small villa. It was right next to a very busy road so asked to be moved and was given a bigger unit that was in need of upgrading. This Park is very average and probably would look elsewhere if we stayed in this...

3 night stay in a family villa with a child toddler and baby. Working in a holiday park before and staying in many, this villa was one of the most basic cabins weve ever stayed in. First thing we noticed was how extremely filthy the aircon filter was..after cleaning it i then noticed that it was the only aircon that...

This is review has kindly been provided by a cleaner working at a competing business nearby, not in Cardwell. We provide clean, 3 ½ star, value for money accommodation. If you are looking for 4 or 5 star accommodation there are other choices, however they will cost you more. Rooms are self contained meaning you need to provide your own...

We have just left after a two month stay at Kookaburra our seventh of similar duration. We have always enjoyed our Holidays at this Park as the people around us are friendly. Rod and Leonie and staff are always friendly courteous and ready for a chat. The Park is an easy walk to the shops, Jetty, Hotel and IGA supermarket....
