Stayed here as part of a tour. Advertised as beach accommodation but in fact your in the rainforest but would recommend it as you can head to the beach to watch the sun come up. Our dorm was a 4 bed dorm which we had to ourselves which was nice. Can only describe it as a plywood box though. Very... More

On arrival we didn´t get the best customer service we have had (apparently the receptionist was having a bad day or she really didn´t know how to smile), but everything else was ok. Not the best cleanliness in the kitchen or the dorms, but it was ok according to the price and the location. If you are on a budget... More

Very friendly staff crispen lodge cabins ok view not so good just see mangrove trees but you can hear the sea Just one other thing of note at lunchtime between midday and 15-00 not able to sit on beach at the opening of restaurant and bar because every day they coach in around 50 guests to have lunch there you... The hostel is in the middle of the rainforest with access to the beach-the perfect location. There were plenty of activities to book at reception or walks to nearby lookouts. As the sea isn't safe to swim in there is a pool next to the bar. I was in a 5 bed dorm, it was quite cramped and basic but... More

Husband and I drove up from Cairns for a night stay here at the Beach House. We stayed in the Ribbon Cottage. Check in was fast and reception was friendly and helpful. It really is quite the experience spending the night in a cottage in the jungle. The beach is beautiful but it's not possible to swim on this beach--... More

We stayed here a night as part of our organised trip. We stayed here in a dorm but there was only us and one other, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Charging points are available in the rooms and other places near they are scarce, so that's a bonus. It's an amazing location right on the beach with a nice... More

This place was all as advertised, it is all about location. Rustic cabins were the rainforest meets the ocean in a secluded setting. The cabin was rustic but just fine for us in the rainforest with it's birds and nighttime sounds. We walked on the beautiful secluded beach closed due to a crocodile sighting. This is an eclectic mix of... More

We had a great stay at the Beach House, Booked a 5 dorm room but it was only us three and at night it was super quiet - haven't slept that good in ages. Everything was clean and the bar looked nice. Only problem was that we booked online for 20 per person and the next day they tried to... More

All the cabins in the resort are set in the rainforest, not too close to each other. We had a basic wooden cabin, in a beautiful setting. It was a little cramped as besides the double bed, two single beds had been added to the room. There was both air conditioning and a large ceiling fan. The bathroom was adequate... More

This place is a getaway from the modern world. Set as the furthest most point of the made road (important as the hire car could not be driven on dirt roads) this place is a world away from the instant information world we live in. You can get WiFi, but it is not cheap. No TV in our room, no... More
